In no way am I saying Ganz is anywhere near Ted's caliber. In fact, the opposite is the very point of what I'm saying. How can you be so certain of how good you believe he truly is when a guy like Ganz can put up similar results in Watson's system?
Watson isn't some revolutionary playcaller, it's a fairly standard pro style offense.
I'll answer your question with a question. You yourself just said Bridgewater and Ganz aren't anywhere near the same caliber player, how can you be so sure about that if they put up nearly identical numbers? I'm guessing your answer will be similar to mine, "I trust what I see." When I watch him play, I feel his strengths will work well in the pros and his weaknesses are correctable.
If you aren't a big fan of Teddy, that's fine as he's not a perfect prospect. However, your posts have pretty much become the polar opposite of the Teddy homers.

Then go post in another thread if you don't like it. They're discussing Teddy and his competitors. Comparing them etc.

He is honestly not as good of a passer as Manziel, that's why, most of these people know Johnny will be better than Teddy but they don't want to admit they were wrong in the past. I miss TMD, i wish he was unbanned.

Completely disagree. Teddy is the best pure passer in this draft.

TMD didn't think much of Manziel.
Teddy is a better pocket passer than Manziel several times over. When Manziel gets into the NFL, he's going to find it hard to do the things that he did in college.

I actually am happy not having TMD around. He always looked like a Jaguars hater.
Most of what people? Johnny Manziel may be a very good passer, but no way is he a better passer than Teddy Bridgewater.

Quote:Actually, his game is seen by some as being stat-padded by the weak SoS. There are also questions about him being somewhat reclusive and quiet.IMO, I think it's mainly because of who else is in this draft. It's not like the "experts" are calling him a 2nd rounder. They just have others who they think warrant a better rating. I still see the possibility of the 2011 draft where Gabbert was the considered the best QB until only a couple of days before the draft. Then boom, Cam Newton.
My biggest question, which no one has been able to answer, is that if he is such a "no-brainer" then why does he seem to be anything but that? Something isn't adding up. If the questions about him are so few and so insignificant, when why isn't he THE pick of the draft? Being a QB, if he was such an outstanding candidate he would certainly, undoubtedly be the overwhelming consensus number one overall pick. Yet no one can explain to me why, or explain why that isn't a concern to them.
Either there's a masterful plan being executed by Texas to keep it under wraps, or nobody is going to spill the beans on why they didn't covet him more until after the draft is over.

Actually Cam Newton was considered the best quarterback for a few weeks before the draft. Before that people debated for months about who the best quarterback was and many said Gabbert.

We still have a ways to go and it's possible after all is said and done, Bridgewater is back to being considered the #1 QB prospect in my opinion. He may already be in the eyes of the real decision makers.

Right now he is the #1 quarterback in the eyes of many decision makers. But don't forget today is not Mays 7.

No, I've been quite consistent the whole time. I've stated that I like the guy, but don't love him. There are reports that GMs and scouts share that opinion. And if you're wondering about which QB I do "love"... for me the same goes for all the QBs at the top of the draft, none of which I believe are worth a top 10 pick.
Anytime I try to have a conversation about it, I'm repeatedly barraged with questions... "why?, where's your proof?" and perjoratives like "you're stupid, hater, racist," and on and on. That's where the difference lies between the two. Whenever I'm asked to defend my statements, I back them up and get blasted for it. Not necessarily aimed at you - but it would be nice that if those folks don't want to hear what someone has to say and aren't interested in their answers, don't bother asking.

So do you want to just wait until an Andrew Luck falls into our lap? Because if we pick outside the top 10 next year there wont be a QB available of Teddys quality.

No, Cam was not seen that way in the weeks leading up to the draft. His selection was somewhat of a surprise.
IIRC, it was tweeted only the night before the draft that Carolina had fallen for him (via Adam Schefter.)
Here it is, found it:

That article (and the tweet it references) was posted on April 27, and the draft kicked off the next day on April 28.

LOL... you don't wait. No one has suggested that but you. You keep drafting until you know you have your franchise guy. Trade up, acquire a FA, whatever you need to do. To think "there won't be a QB available of Teddy's quality" is your mistake, and your fear. I certainly don't share that sentiment. That explains the difference in opinion whether you agree or not.
