Just like San Diego, right?

(I see only one possible win, personally)

Quote:The 2nd half of the schedule becomes real easy.

Houston is in free fall, Tennessee is being exposed as average at best, Arizona, Buffalo & Cleveland have QB issues, and Indy will likely be resting their starters in week 17.

Meanwhile, Tampa's remaining schedule is loaded with opponents where I can't find a victory for the Bucs.

Houston almost beat the Chiefs.

Average at best is good enough to beat us.

Arizona puts up good fights

Buffalo just beat Miami

Cleveland's defense is enough to destroy us

Indy may be playing for the 2 seed in week 17

Add in the fact that the Referees will be against us in every game, and the fact that Tampa will likely catch a lucky break or two -- and I like our chances.

I don't know about that... playing for a #1, #2 and #3 seed is huge. Cleveland has one of the best defenses in the league and Arizona's D is pretty good. I think TB has 2-3 wins and the Giants have like 4-5 wins. We will most likely end up with 1 or 2.

San Diego > probably every team on our 2nd half schedule.  (not counting Colts, but Colts as said will likely be resting players week 17)

The only reason I saw SD as a potential win was because it seemed like a good spot to get them - i.e. after their Mon night home win, then travel to the east coast for 1 pm game.

1 or two wins?  Who can we beat?

We cannot even beat most teams backups
Quote:Talk about bass-ackwards. You fill in pieces with FAs. You don't build with them.

But gutting a team with no attempt at adding a few " building blocks" to have something to " build " on is what I'm inferring to. By not doing anything to improve the team.. With no FAs and letting any possible QB go undrafted , letting starting LTs go... Implys a tank. That was the question. I'll leave the rebuilding expertise to the posters here.

All I know this season is the worst ever. Some don't mind the crock pot. Others like microwave. I may be wrong, but after 17 years and suffering through the Del Rio years, and best memories are from the Coughlin years, my patience is thin.

The newer, younger fans can be patient.

All I can say is...dear God, please grant me patience....and I want it sooner than later. Even if I have to do it bass ackwards.

Anyway...my point was for this season as the question asked. Not the 2014-15-16-17 seasons.
You know? In all honesty? I really don't care which qb they take in the draft.. As long as we get the man some linemen to protect the poor guy.. we don't need an injured first round franchise qb..

How can it be "real easy"? We haven't scored a TD in three home games. Think about that for a second.
For you guys worried about winning games, Clearly Khan has the refs on his payroll. Relax.

Exactly....and as his soccer team players, he's showing how to take a dive.

Keep in mind this is the same person who predicted a win yesterday for the Jags.

The only reason he's doing this, or predicting the end of the season will be "easy" is because in the event the Jags do win a game (highly unlikely), he can howl to the moon about how stupid they were for winning.

In any situation, the diva will find the angle that allows him to garner the most attention.

Let's not derail the thread.

The draft is a lottery ticket

So, where do you want the team's next QB to come from? Free agency? Who do you suggest?

If not free agency, why would you be against Caldwell having his first choice at QB available, guaranteed?

Yes, of course, there's always a chance the top QB will fail and a later one will excel. But why would you want to risk that? What do you gain from a win or two or four this season?

Say they do win four games and miss out on the QB they would have taken because he's off the board. Then what? Next man up, fine.

And if he's not as good?

Well, thank goodness we won those four games, right?

I'd rather see Caldwell get his guy, and if he's bad, well, heck, at least he'll go down with his ship.

Jaguarmvp i thought you were better than this.

Im annoyed with the team sucking but i can see the overall plan coming together. We have improved the pass rush somewhat and early in our games before the D is dead from the offense going 3 and out we are getting pressure/sacks.  Seeing an aggressive secondary as well.

We need a QB first and foremost hence them rolling with Henne and Gabbert to ensure us a top QB in the draft. They didnt jump on Barkley who looked like trash yesterday or Geno Smith who is going to be good but not great IMO. Same with Manuel who i even liked and wanted us to draft. They will put in work to fix the o-line and QB positions this draft while looking for a pass rusher.

Overall the team is bad....really bad but even the most negative posters have to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Heck we actuallu have legit WRs and a secondary that actually makes plays on the ball. Havent been able to say that in 5+years.

Lol. Wanted to make sure I included some other fans who asked for the same thing.
It's a Khanspiracy

Not really though, most Jags fans are fine with the lack of success this season, as long as it actually culminates with the desired goal, i.e. 1st overall pick.

Very few have seemingly done what mvp is doing - as represented in the fixed post.
