I believe they now let you draft more than one player. And I hear they are bringing back Free Agency.

I hear we got a new GM last year. And the word is he made a public quote that they plan on spending more money than they originally planned in this next offseason.

They are going to "have to" essentially, just to reach the salary floor....
That is only a good thing if they actually get good players in here at decent prices. If they are just forced to overpay for the Dewan Landry's/ POz'z/ Pashos'/ Porters/ and Session's of the football world, i.e. overpay for average - then I don't see how that as a great thing.
I don't mind overpaying for players like Peppers (at the time he became FA) and players of that ilk at their respective positions, but I have a real problem with paying big money for average players such as the 5 that I previously mentioned.

Johnny Football says he is ready to dominate the NFL. Jags have to take a careful look at this guy come draft time. He has a chance to be one of the all time greats.

NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah believes Texas A&M redshirt sophomore QB Johnny Manziel is "the most creative quarterback playmaker" he has scouted in 10 years.
"You talk about instincts and playmaking ability -- I've never evaluated anybody at the quarterback position better in those factors," Jeremiah said while appearing on a Fox Sports podcast. The former NFL scout polled numerous evaluators that all said they would take Manziel in critical, single play situations among all draft-eligible quarterbacks

He's not the strongest, the fastest, the smartest. or the most accurate, but he makes plays.

Yep,
What ever the "it" factor is, he certainly has it.

Have fun with Manziel for the handful of games he is healthy each season. That body (or lack of it) and that playstyle is going to cause him to be more injury prone than Vick and RG3.
Fortunately I believe Dave is smarter than that.

That's my biggest concern with him, he's tiny. He'll have to take the Russell Wilson blueprint and protect himself by getting down.

Anyone change their opinion of Johnny Manziel in the last month or two? Back two or three months ago, most mockers didn't have him going in the first round. What changed those mocker's opinions? Was it the bowl game? The last two games of the regular were well below average (thumb injury) for Mr. Football, yet his stock was rising even then.

It turns out that NFL people have different evaluations than the talking heads.

Speaking of Clint Session, he would've been a steal if he could stay healthy. A shame really.
Otherwise, I agree. I'm sick of Dawan Landry's and Pashos'ses.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Manziel is staying in San Diego to prepare for the Scouting Combine, rather than coming to New York to make the loop of promotional appearances.
Manziel’s been working out with quarterback tutor George Whitfield, who helped polish Cam Newton into the top pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Manziel’s agent Erik Burkhardt said the Texas A&M quarterback turned down “several lucrative marketing offers,” adding that “His focus remains 100% on football.”

I want to see Manziel succeed, not here though. Will be a hilarious day when Mazielmania blows up like Chernobyl in peoples faces lol
