Brother, I once stayed up for three days doing nothing but drinking bourbon and beer and gambling. I can't even imagine how much of a train wreck I'd be if I drank that.

Besides, why you wanna go eff'ing up the Tito's like that?!?!

A popular mixologist once wrote (regarding what you mix with your alcohol) :

Gentlemen, if you can't picture Earnest Hemingway drinking it…. you're doing it wrong.

Surprising facts about Yamazaki Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013 -the world's best whisky

That was until last month when Yamazaki’s Single Malt Sherry Cask 2013, made by beverage giant Suntory, beat out more than 1,000 challengers to be named the world’s best whisky by spirits expert Jim Murray in his Whisky Bible 2015.

Is that essentially an Old Fashioned?

When the Jags win it's a "Whisky Rosette."

(an old fashioned uses sugar instead of cointreau and only a twist-rubbed rim instead of the actual lemon juice in the cocktail)
Quote:Is that one of those Cognac/Vodka blends?  Haven't tried one yet.

Yes, but I didn't know there were other brands.  I only knew about the Twenty Grand.

It's a little strong, so I wouldn't recommend it for you Jaguar fans.  Tongue

Except Bchbunnie, she could probably drink me under the table ... and I am willing to find out.  Banana
Pappy is out, for you bourbon fans.

I did not expect to like this beer.

It is good. It is very good!
I think my "Check Liver" light came on last night....... sat at the bar and drank 6-7 Budweisers and a shot of JWB. Came home and killed 1/2 a bottle of Southern Comfort...........

Now we know where Fireball comes from.......

Hmmm.  Haven't tried that.  While I'd usually gravitate to a single malt over a blend at that type of price, it's aged for 18 years, and I haven't ever had a "bad" 18 year old whiskey.  :teehee:

Which is it, I've seen it spelled WHISKEY amd WHISKY........ What's the differance?
