How much head do you prefer on your beer?

EDIT: A post so good, I had to write it twice.

Depends on the beer.

I like one - two fingers of "collar" on the pilsner, kolsch and weissbier.  I like two-three fingers on heartier lagers, stouts and oktoberfests.

I'm into the foam more than some.

Some of you know I bartended part-time at a pub in NYC for a couple of years and learned quite a lot from my international patrons regarding their customs.

Aussie's will accuse you of ripping them off for not filling a pint glass to overflowing with zero head.

Germans will guffaw at the lack of head if it's less than two fingers.

The more discerning of the UK clientele will eyeball a less than perfect (1.5 fingers) head on a Guiness and silently wish they could find a place to get a better pint.  Then they'll let you know it was served too cold before ordering a G&T.

I had this new thing called tequila, last night...if I remember correctly.

Haha, great story.

I'm also a foam fan. I'm mostly in the 1.5-2 finger range. Who knew there were so many Aussie's floating around?

Come on over, just ignore all the warning signs.
I'll ignore pretty much anything after drinking tequila.

Top two favorites are Gran Centenario and Oro Azul.
Started out drinking Pabst Draft in a bar to get primed. Now I'm drinking a 12 pack of Bud Tall Boys that were given to me

I don't know a whole lot about bourbon...other than I like it and I drink too much of it, but my neighbor gave me a bottle of "Two Stars" for Christmas and it's delicious.

Good beer.
Since I discovered it a few months ago, I've routinely been drinking Milk Stout Nitro by Left Hand Brewing. Anyone else ever had any of this stuff? I really like it.

I struggle with those types because I don't care for coffee.
