Quote:Now to try some of that cow juice...

If it taste like Milk, you used the wrong nozzle on the cow.

rollerjag is the one that suggested Kettle1 to me. I did also try Titos ... When you drink them as fast as I do, you don't have time to taste them, so it doesn't matter. Wink

Drink faster, if you can taste it, you are going too slow. Banana
If you don't mind paying a little extra, Chopin Potato is a good vodka. For something more along the Absolut-Kettle One price range, Luksusowa is great. Tito's has already been mentioned, but I highly recommend trying potato vodka and Luksusowa is a good one, as is Chopin...but that's in the Grey Goose-Belvedere range.

As long as there isn't just one nozzle.

Thank ya, Rache.  I'll give 'em a shot, or three.
There's also a vodka called Amsterdam (I think). I tried it at a party, it was pretty good.

Woke up in the bathroom though.

Not sure if those two items are related...

Was the vodka named Amsterdam, or is that where you woke up?
It was the vodka name.

Not sure I should ever visit Amsterdam; just seems like a bad idea.

Are you talking about New Amsterdam? If so...

yuck. We need to expand your pallet my friend.

Signed,

Booze snob Rache.

All I'm saying is that it tasted good right out of the freezer. Then again, I am not the most refined of people.

Oh, I'm just making a funny. If you like it then more power to you...it's a heck of a lot better than having to pay the extra money for the top shelf stuff. Likewise, I'm always jealous of lightweights. Less money spent!
I tried Ketel One last night.  It's definitely heavier on the palate than the Absolut, but without the lingering, almost cloying, aftertaste it had.  I haven't drank much vodka since all these 'boutique' brands came out.  I'm kinda liking this exercise in critiquing the differences.  It makes me all warm inside.

I know, and it's appreciated. ; )

Any time you want to make the trip up 95 North, there's a bourbon bar here in town that sports over $500,000 worth of liquor. I'll let you refine my palate in that place all you like!

Sadly though, my days of being a lightweight are long since past.
Sippin' on a little George Dickel #12 tonight.     Got a bottle of Sancerre Rose' chilling to pair with the striped bass I'm about to cook for a late dinner.   Woot!

I didn't make it past that, phew, what can a guy say? ummm, well.

What comedy club do you work at? Tongue
Gotta say, best vodka I ever had was a vodka called Rain.. Good stuff..

:teehee:   (It's whiskey, Sammy!)

My Vodka Hierarchy is as follows  (bottom to top)

Tito's  -  Stoli -  Ketel One  -  Belvedere

You haven't offered me a drink yet, how was I supposed to know?
Anytime you're in the neighborhood, Sammy,  you are welcome to about 17% of whatever's in the liquor cabinet.

(so if your colts find the their way to the super bowl at the Meadowlands this year  - we'll host the stupor bowl post-game!)

Anyone try any of my suggestions?

I require a report.
