Did they really march Schiff out there to lecture the Senate for 2 hours? Wow. I know phones aren't allowed, but how about crossword puzzles? I hear the networks bailed out and aired the regular soap operas, LOL Real compelling TV here. I fell asleep halfway through a 2 minute summary of the proceedings.

Nah. TV is for sports and comedy. I read websites for news, and only a couple of times a day.

There's just so much opportunity to speculate here!

LOL, apparently Rand Paul did sneak in a crossword puzzle.
This Schiff guy is dangerous. If you are a supporter of anything he is doing, you should be ashamed of yourself and seek help immediately.

He's trying to start a coup. I don't think he'd like how that ends for him and his supporters. Just saying.

No, he’s an unaccomplished lawmaker flailing around in a desperate attempt to establish a name for himself. Don’t fall into that trap of making unnecessary and ill advised provocative statements.

Impeachment and removal would be the opposite of a coup.
A coup is when a guy with an army comes into the halls of power and says, "I am the law now. Your old constitution is no more. Pray I issue a new constitution for you soon."
But impeachment is within our constitution.
A coup would be if fewer than 67 senators vote to remove, and the army says, "we remove the President anyway." Or, 67 or more vote to remove, but Trump stays and says, "you can't make me leave" and the army says, "ok, you don't have to leave."
Schiff's not attempting any of these things.

Is he lying constantly and consistently?
Then yes, he's attempting a coup within the loopholes.
If Schift was a prosecutor he would have been disbarred over the way he caricatured the president's phone call if not charged with obstruction. If he had a material professional conflict of interest with the whistleblower he would have been forced to recuse. If the whistleblower had his conflicts and associations with Biden, not to mention potential culpability, his complaint would be stricken from a court record and any testimony against the president would be deemed inadmissible.
It's TRUE, the Congress has a certain latitude to adjudicate certain high crimes or misdemeanors that may potentially exist outside the criminal code, but this is using the congress as opposition research in pursuit of a process that falls well below the criminal standard.

If we’re talking that side of the argument, then wouldn’t it be simpler to just say “democrat right, Republican wrong”?
Seriously. Look at the facts. Which is probably a lost cause at this point. This day and age, people don’t stray from their party. Nor do they actually look at right and wrong as it was supposed to be teached to us as we were young. When did political party trump morals? [BLEEP], I know some hard core rep that want KC to win the SB because they would hate for Californians to have joy. I agree, that’s just ignorant. But if we really want to be real, give it a rest man. Trump is the least of our worries. And God forbid, he actually make the country a better place.
Jerry Nadler outright 100% lied about Jonathan Turleys testimony. This is tragic.
These people literally impeached the president, article 2, for challenging subpoenas in court.

Equally as tragic as Pat Cipollone's outright 100% lie that no republicans were allowed in the SCIF during impeachment investigations
