The idea of stopping drinking implies that you have a drinking problem. The idea of firing a corrupt prosecutor implies that the prosecutor was in fact corrupt.
As I have pointed out many times, there is no evidence that Shokin was corrupt. Moreover, we know that he was actively pursuing an investigation into the concerned party at the time he was fired.

Ok then. I guess there's no evidence for a lot of things. Did the House even impeach Trump, or was it an elaborate ruse like Shokin getting fired? I doubt I will ever be bored enough to determine which officials in Ukraine were corrupt. I would probably have to learn the language before I could form an informed opinion. But sure, I will go with your opinion.
A bunch of different people wanted the guy fired for a bunch of different reasons, but the guy wasn't corrupt.
It's still not credible for the president of that country to say that he only fired the guy for one of those people and no one else.
