Agree 100%. He sounded competent for once.

As a supporter, I agree.

Edit: yer still dum cuz ur a democrat though. I didn't want you getting the wron idea. Smile
Trump backing down on Muslim ban. That's a promising start.

Oh thank God. Thank GOD. We all need a little more jihad in our life.

He needs to completely reverse his position on Muslims to be trustworthy on that issue.

Trump protesters nearly made me late for work yesterday as they shut down the largest freeway in Portland.

What are they even protesting? I really don't get it.

Hmm is that a good ol Democratic stimulus plan he is speaking about?

Look at that he is more Democrat than the Democrats.

He also looks really chummy with Shumer. Very interesting indeed.

They didn't get their way so they'll throw a tantrum and disrupt everyone else's life. It's pathetic.
Wow...some were chanting 5-6-7-8- America was never great.

Serenity now...serenity now...SERENITY NOW!!!
Quote:I somewhat agree though not fully.  I do believe that that many on the right side of the political spectrum sent a message to the "establishment" part of the GOP by electing an "outsider".  I believe that those on the left just "accepted" the apparent coronation of Hillary as their nominee even though there was plenty of evidence that proves that she was not their choice.  If anything, these "protests" should be against the DNC.

Though I agree with what you mentioned regarding the left,  in what I mentioned back on page 6 on this thread was referring to President-Elect Trump and the Congress needing to deliver to satisfy us and others on the right to the extent that we would want them re-elected.

Michelle Obama,  pre-2008,  would have been leading the chant.

So true!

The serenity now chant was mine btw...not what they were chanting! Lol
Quote:I don't know if either could garner enough support to win.  With Trump and Ryan burying the hatchet for the moment, it looks like the current Speaker of the House is already hustling to keep his gig.

Unfortunately,  I'm not optimistic for either of them winning the Speaker position,  even if interested.   They don't seem to represent a large enough portion of the House ( using the current House as my basis point )  to defeat Paul Ryan or someone else that's similar to him.

 LOL!

One thing I find interesting is these same type of individuals seemed much more focused on defeating Hillary Clinton in the Democrat Primary process and at the DNC than they did in defeating Donald Trump in the general election.  All of a sudden,  now they are on the loose again!

Most of those protesting are young enough that they haven't gone through an election where their person lost, I'm sure they thought it would always be like that.
Quote:Thanks, War.

Huh!

Good Gawd ya'll!!!

Hey! What is it good for?

  Good point.

Though I'm no fan of Michael Moore,  these individuals didn't seem to pay attention to his warnings ( from the ultra left perspective ) about what could happen in the general election.

They're young and ignorant enough to where they've now experienced their candidate losing on the same election cycle. These protesters are mostly rent-a-mobs, and mostly Sanders supporters.

He actually did swerve into a moment of coherent thought.

I know of one that is.
