Quote:You made it about her when you brought her into the conversation. And as far as the hate and vitriol, the only people I see spewing that stuff right now are the ones protesting a president that hasn't even taken office yet. But I'm sure it's just Trump and his supporters fault, not both sides....never that.

Why be part of the solution right?
*groan*
You know what I call college student liberals? Future Republicans
It's mind boggling that liberals think they are the "smart" and "peaceful" ones. Sure, I have heard reports of violence yet. But, give it time.

It is mind-boggling that no conservatives on this forum are unwilling to accept the obvious fact political party affiliation has nothing to do with intelligence.

Quote:Deportation by definition is forcing people to return to their native countries FYI. Not all illegal immigrants are from Syria.

How about round these crybabies up and ship them to the middle east and see how they like it there or start their own country.

How about learn not to pretend the topic is funny?

What am I reading? Could someone diagram that cacophony of words please?

of all the posters on here, you are the one questioning the smart aspect. Classic. Carry on troll, carry on.

What are they doing to be part of the solution?
Quote:Sorry but your wrong. Its very rare and only twice in the last 100 years. Well over half the country is not for Trump. More americans prefered Hillary. People are not going to go away. If he thinks he can be who he has been, it wont be a very successful 4 years.

edit: I support the Electoral College

That's what I said... Democrats typically get the popular vote.
Quote:The election is over. It's no longer about Clinton. It's about a country that is as divided as it has ever been. Its about the fact this country absolutely is full of hate and vitriol. I get the sense that President-Elect Donald Trump doesn't get it, nor do his supporters. Nope it's all ha ha and spit in your face. How do you see that ending?
Fist fights on the streets. LETS DO THIS.

Total coincidence, I'm sure.
Quote:Let em all go to California. That's what they want? Lettem have it. Everyone is happy.

Calexit

But I thought only unpatriotic Confederate loving rednecks where the only traitors that should be tar and feathered for wanting to leave?

Funny I seem to remember a bunch of liberals denouncing secession movements not to long ago?

Personally I'm all for a divide the country's to big to diverse break it up into three or four regions and let the different regions govern how they wish. Smaller is always better when it comes to governments.

So how do you explain the fact that many Republican presidents won the popular vote?
Quote:Apparently I have to remind other posters not to lump all liberals together when name-calling them.

Not all liberals are bad people. Not all conservatives are good people. Get over it.

For once I'm going to agree with you whole heartedly.

Hi I'm Rob and I tend to hang in the middle but lean a little more left than right. I'm a believer of God, not in the Christian sense. I go to school full time and work a full time job. I pay my taxes and care about others regardless of race, nation or origin, religion or sexual preference. I grew up in a deeply conservative household.

I'm extending my hand to both sides and ask of we can start here. Start now by trying to come together or ALL different kinds of people with all different kinds of beliefs and opinions can have a chance to succeed. Because that's what mother [BLEEP] Muurica is all about.

I am questioning the blanket label for all liberals, as opposed to naming a few donkeys out of  the millions, which would have been more appropriate. What I have been seeing in this section is prejudice against liberals in the same way that a person would cal every Muslim on the planet evil,

Hi, I'm Andrea. I am white, a Christian, in poverty, unemployed, disabled, and almost 40 years old. Politically speaking, I always stay on the left side. My highest education level was three junior college classes. A statement by anybody that sends the message all liberals are bad or stupid citizens is identical to claiming all Muslims are evil because of their religion. It is the basis of prejudice and opposite of what this country exists for. Until everyone stops acting like all liberals are bad people, I keep telling people to stop doing it. An attack on all is an attack on me because I am a liberal.

For what it's worth,  the popular vote in this Presidential election is days,  maybe even weeks from being decided.   The popular vote difference was around 200,000 earlier today.   That's a relatively small margin,  considering that many votes having been counted yet.
