Your Patriots have been to EIGHT (8) Super Bowls during that time:
1996
2001
2003
2004
2007
2011
2014
2016
You won five (5) of them.
You've been to seven (7) straight AFC Championship games, and twelve (12) in the Brady era.
You've been to the playoffs NINETEEN (19) times since 1994.
Of the years you DIDN'T make the playoffs in that span, you had records of 6-10 ('95), 8-8 ('99), 5-11 ('00), 9-7 ('02), 11-5 ('08).
So you've had a grand total of TWO (2) losing seasons in the last TWENTY-THREE (23)-none worse than 5-11, in addition to the EIGHT SB appearances and FIVE wins, and you are thumping your chests about supporting your team?!?
You have no excuse NOT to support your team.
Since 1999, we've had FOUR (4) winning seasons, No SB appearances, and records of 2-14, 3-13 twice, and a 4-12 all since 2012.
You are thumping your chests about outdrawing a team with that track record?!?
Absolutely pathetic.

Can't trust them, although personally I live or die by DVOA-isms.
The 'Moneyball' guy for pro football is Aaron Schatz, a Pats fan. He's the creator / owner of the site and it's his analytics that started it all for football.
I've heard them interviewed a few times on ESPN. He goes to the Pats home games

Preaching to the choir here. Again, that's why I don't go to home games anymore - many of the fans under 40 are oblivious at best, obnoxious to visiting fans at worst.
If I go to any Pats games anymore, it's in a corporate suite at Gillette, or more likely a road game to a nice climate, surrounded by rival fans I can have a good time with.
Definitely will have to attend the next Pats - Jags game in Jacksonville. I found them to be a classy bunch and a lot of fun to tailgate with at both playoff games in Foxboro (97 / 07?). I met the one 'Superfan' ever elected (?) to the NFL HOF, a jags fan with a nickname I can't recall.
In 2007, I hosted 30 to 40 Jag fans who made the trip to Foxboro. One of my favorite tailgate memories.

Good. Jags fans will be satisfied with a couple playoff wins then.

It's been rough for so long with us, if you can't laugh you'll cry.
But i love the Jags fans, people on places like here or Jags fans i've spoken to are usually great guys, always fun and we like a laugh. It's a Duval thing, like it or there's the exit.
I have a lot of respect for the Pats. What they have achieved over a 17 year span in the modern day NFL with the focus on a level playing field is astonishing. Brady is the best QB i've ever seen and Belichick continues to look light years ahead of his rivals. I would love to experience the Jags having 7 straight AFC Championship games, but this season as a Jags fan, i will treasure it forever. It's been this amazing rollercoaster that just keeps going.
I have no doubt the challenge we face on Sunday, on the road to New England in January, that's as tough as they come, but we have a tough, bonded team that has nothing to lose. If you look at the media, they've almost fallen back into the pre season, 'no one can beat the Pats, they'll go undefeated', as how can Bortles, Keenum or Foles beat Brady and Belichck? If we lose, then it will be what everyone expected and haven't the Jags had a good season but the pressure will be on New England.
We are 60 minutes away from the Superbowl, the Jags are going to give the Pats EVERYTHING.

I hope the Vikings win Sunday. It’ll be a long two weeks around here if we have to deal with Philly fans.

Then it was But Blake Bortles is still their QB
then it was the end of the season skid....
then only putting up 10 VS Bills
then its "oh but you let one of the best offenses score 42"
Now we're hearing you guys will just do what the sorry tacks did...
or... our offense won't be able to move the ball like we did vs the steelers to your D.
That's OK though really. I wouldn't expect a Pats fan to give the Jags a chance in Hell. And I wouldn't expect most media types to change their tune going into a game facing the previous SB winner.
But when you guys come on here and tell us all the things going great with your team, you're going to be met with relative disdain and be treated as hostile.
You aren't trolling though, which is nice.
Just have your head shoved up Tom's turrific anus so you can't see the [BLEEP] storm heading to Bawstun
Clean up your act. Playing the victim card is out of date.
This is today's Pardon the Interruption.
In the Five Good Minutes segment, they interview former 49ers QB Steve Young, starting at the 11 minute segment.
He talks about how everyone views the Jaguars.
