That throwing motion should've been tightened up by the coaches. The fact that they're letting him continue with that long wind up is on them. I wanna see what a good coach and a halfway decent running game can do for Bortles.

This is sadly true about now...the one position most of thought might be solved for some years is now a HUGE problem.

Right now, in this environment, BB is a bust.  But, change the environment, and I expect vast improvement.

I don't. He's inaccurate, his timing is poor, he makes terrible decisions, he doesn't protect the ball... I've never seen him apparently audible into a big play for us...


I just honestly don't see where the improvement will come from.

He worked hard and made vast improvements from year 1 to year 2.

I really didn't WANT to believe it, but he has definitely regressed.  Back to throwing wobbly ducks, late getting the ball out, throwing behind receivers.  The only time he throws a pretty spiral, he over throws the receivers...or zips it in there so hard that it bounces off the receiver's hands.

He might throw the worst ball in the entire NFL. Seriously. It doesn't look good at all. So many other QBs throw a nice spiral that actually goes to the right place.

Unfortunately the flip side is no respectable coach with options is touching Blake. 

I felt like leaving when he threw the INT into triple coverage with two receivers running wide open on the other side of the field.  

 

He was horrible yesterday....HORRIBLE.

 

For the first time ever...I was the first one back to the parking lot in our tailgating group.  I just couldn't take it any more.

 

On the positive side, the chili was really good.

I would love to see what this team can do with a different coach and different QB.
