I can def see a 4 in jax 4 in london eventually.
...
People keep saying this, but it doesn't really make any sense.
Look at it this way:
If a handful of Jags players kneeling pre-game altered attendance by 4K-7K people for a few games last year - how many do you think they'd lose if he announced a split in games with a European city?
There would be no point of maintaining the Jacksonville base if there are 35-40K people showing up to a 68K seat stadium. And I believe that's exactly what would happen.
I said it in another post, but there is absolutely no way
any city would support a setup like that. Plus, as I believe Cleatwood stated, what about playoff games? How do you decide where they are played? And how do you think that would sit with the US city if it were played in London? There is absolutely no way they would be dumb enough to do a 4 and 4 split.

Well, at least that would be a positive. LOL

What does that have to do with anything? There's already two more teams besides us that have lost home games to London this year alone. If we're playing one more away game there it's not going to matter what the other team wants.
I think it matters to the home team fans who lose the game. We're willing to put up with it for financial stability, I doubt that Seahawk fan is all that happy about his team playing a "home" game in another country. Piss enough of them off and it will matter to the League.

that's the point dude, IMO, Khan knows this... he does the 4/4 split claims hes a good guy by keeping the team in Jax but "needs" the money that London brings... full well knowing a ton of fans, myself included, say "PEACE, IM OUT" and after a few years of horrible attendance he has the excuse he needs to make it a full time relocation...
I'm talking probably 10 years down the line from today, but that is my opinion, there is a ton of info and smoke that makes this possible, and I hate and despise rich million and billionaires and have never in my life trusted them and never will. They only see green

no it wont, because then the league has even MORE ammo about needing more money than what it's getting in Jax and moves permanently to London
everything is about money with people like this, saying otherwise is legit as naive as it comes
if you believe that, then you are probably someone who believes that giant corporations need more tax cuts so they can pay more workers and give them more money LOLOL... good one

because he wants you to keep believing for now
All you fans citing attendance are cute, Khan doesn't care about attendance, he wants the whole continent of Europe to root for his team.
whole continent buying merch > duval county buying merch
it's really as simple as that.
i do NOT think they will ever fully move to london, let's be clear. the logistics would be a HUGE disadvantage for the players with jet lag, and luring free agents would be damn near impossible. but a half and half scenario would work just fine. those season ticket prices would half in price and likely be packed wall to wall each time since there would only be 4 of them. even if the jags lose a little support in duval he would make tenfold the amount of fans in europe. it's a no-lose situation for him.
I don’t think it will happen. If they move there for 4 games, I will definitely drop my tickets though. No point in continuing if they are halfway out the door.

They're already buying lots of merch over there, einstein.
Just stop. You're not good at this.
The Jags outranked 12 teams last year in revenue including your lowly stinking hillbilly thumbtacks.
(by 20 million dollars)

Awww. Thanks for the concern. You're so sweet.
Let me know if you're crap team ever decides they can do better too. They've got some real work to do to keep up with the Jags' revenue earnings.
BTW - Ignoring dumb media speculation and stupid people on the internet isn't "denial." It's called not being a moron.

My parrot calls that an apple. Words are what we say they are.
As far as moving the Jags to London, although not likely it's certainly in the realm of possibility.

No matter how many times you write "I am an apple" on it, NYC4jags telling you it's a banana is not denial.
So if Kahn were to ask the owners to move to London, what would be his argument to leave Jacksonville? That London is a bigger market? That's not a valid reason. If it were, the Bills, Titans, and Bengals would be in Portland, San Antonio, and Orlando, respectively. Is the TIAA Field an issue? No, not really. The Jags have never--not once---complained about the stadium. And the city has been an active partner in financing the renovations. What about attendance? The Jags have put 55-60k in the stadium for some pretty awful Jag teams. Now that they're winning, the tarps are off. As long as they're winning, they'll get 65k a game.
The Titans have a better chance of playing in Austin or San Antonio than the Jags have of moving to London.

He can make more money in London, or at least he thinks he can. For the time being he can make more money, but once the novelty wears off who knows.

Time for a little trivia question: Out of the two teams, which one ALREADY has a history of ditching its home town?
It is so funny that this is still a story.
London loves the exhibition style NFL games that have no real meaning to them over there. No one over there wants a full time American football team.
Jags aren't moving to London.
NO team is moving to London.
Khan is a smart businessman who knows how much money he can make by owning the stadium in which the NFL uses for its London games AS WELL AS all the other profit that stadium accrues.
To make it any other story is simply trolling.
