Not even close to the same situation. Even in his not so great years Cam has been decent.

Given up on a young QB with talent and has shown it, is the dumbest thing any franchise can do, QBs dont grow on trees, you better find a coach who can develop him.

 

Like somebody said Eli is the same way but he won 2 super bowls, Eli is always up and down but he has great talent, you dont get rid of that in the NFL this is not Madden. Your gonna be stuck back in the Gabbert years where the dude cant even put up garbage time numbers even with one of the best RB in the NFL and a good defense

Well Blake only played two years, one was his rookie year and the other he had the biggest improvement by a QB in NFL history, this year its only been 3 games, the dude might light it up the rest of the way, what Simms says is idiotic

He will have at least this year and probably next year as well to improve.


But he has a looooong way to go.

We need to end whatever experiment that makes this team the definition of pathetic. Year in and year out we suck. Not just a little suck, we shatter the mold and redefine it in terms that was heretofore regarded as unattainable. We are a thesaurus entry for the word suck. Physicists use our team logo as a mathematical symbol for absolute vacuum. Our suck force is of such magnitude that Cuba is actually getting closer to Florida. Lampreys envy us. There's rumor that Hoover is paying for bootleg copies of our playbook. What's worse is sometimes we don't suck so bad but have no idea why. We do know that our baseline is suck and we will return there at any given time. Suck is calling, we must answer.

Lee can't catch a pass for five yards without tipping it in the air. Lee has been more involved then hurns which is stupid.

The guy has shown me enough to give him another 5 years before I give up on him.  All the tools just needs to tighten up a few things.
