There was no original intent for killing someone. Everyone seems to be glossing over the fact that Ahmaud ran towards two armed individuals. At that point, he can not claim self-defense. The individual with the shotgun did not point with intent at Ahmaud. The shotgun was fired after a brief scuffle and could be claimed and supported as self-defense. Although Ahmaud's original action can be deemed felony burglary by Georgia law, the situation did not need to result in someone's death. I've said it once and I'll say it again...Both parties escalated to a point it did not need to be. Remove one factor from either side and this "kid" is alive.
