I set you up, don't let me down.

Don’t use John Wayne. He’s been canceled.

I was calling JIB a twerp, not John Wayne.
This is what a twerp thinks manliness sounds like, "It's time to put the rubber bullets, tasers and tear gas away.  2 to the torso and 1 to the head will put a stop to the nonsense."

You've never been in a physical altercation in your entire life. No need to tell me otherwise - I already know you haven't.

That's not a measure of manliness either, but, FWIW, I got in a couple each of the three years of middle school.  Bruises given and received. Suspensions all around.

Little Suzy pulling your hair so you would stop picking your nose doesn't count.
I bet he got the bruises because he didn't want to hit a girl. Very chivalrous of you, Mikey.

One of them was over a girl, but other than that, no girls involved.

I agree it doesn't count.  Why is anybody asking? When's the last time you threw punches, tough guy? I could make you an appointment.
LOL.  So getting in a "fight" in middle school is manly.  Doc Holiday was not.  Got it.   Laughing

You are really dense.  Everything you think I said is the opposite of what I actually said.

Doc Holliday in 1881 - Manly
Pretending to be Doc Holliday in 2020 in downtown portland - not manly

Fighting - not manly, but I didn't bring it up.

No need to "pretend" anything in downtown Portland.  Just relax, exhale, focus on the sight and squeeze the trigger.  That's what is needed to stop the terrorist nonsense happening in democrat cities today.

That entire sentence was pretending.  You pretending that you're manly.

LOL.  Which sentence snowflake?

So which is it?  The portrayal of Doc Holiday from a great movie (Tombstone) or my comment that triggered you?  First it was your criticism about what "manliness looks like" then it was what "manliness sounds like".  You are the one that brought up the whole "manliness" argument.

Fighting was brought up because someone speculated that you have never been in a physical altercation in your life.  You countered with supposed "fights" while you were in grade school.  I'm not so sure I would include grade school fights as a "physical altercation", but whatever.

I'm still trying to figure out which sentence is me "pretending to be manly".  The second sentence?  That's the advice that I give to new shooters passed down to me by other shooters (both men and women).  The third sentence?  When the fight becomes fair and real perhaps these terrorists in Portland and other cities will get the idea that attempted murder will be and should be stopped by whatever means.  When they start taking these peaceful protestors terrorists away in body bags they might get the picture.

Exactly.

It's pretty transparent, seems if you pretend to have no empathy you are tough round here, very sad.

I don't "pretend".  Empathy for what?  Thugs destroying our great country?  I know that you are afraid of guns and don't understand what our Second Amendment to our Constitution is all about.  I'll give you a bit of a hint... it's to enable us to protect ourselves FROM government.  That's pretty much why we kicked your country's [BLEEP] out of here in the 1700's.
You carry a gun around because you are fearful or it makes you feel tough. There is no other reason. Or has Trump sent the troops out for you?

Not sure how this got onto guns? But Obviously I'd be fearful if someone held a gun at me. Luckily not an issue.

And yes you pretend,. It's better than being a sociopath.
Buuuwwaaaaa!! Laughing Laughing I know there is a couple of chumps here that will send this criminal some cash.

"Portland assault suspect takes to social media to beg for financial help"
LOL, I had one of "them" try to intimidate me today.  Some crazy tattoo wearing, man-bun wearing fatty in a small "sports car" got pissed off at me and kept waving me over today.  I finally pulled into a gas station (I needed Ice).  He got out of his car and started approaching me trying to intimidate me telling me about how he was going to "kick my [BLEEP]".  When he got within about 15 yards or so from me I told him that "I don't think so" and drew my weapon.  I stood my ground, never pointed it at him or threatened him in the least bit.  I just made it clear to him that I had it and that I would defend myself.

Now granted, I am 5'7" tall and weigh all of 150 lbs. if I'm soaking wet and I'm in my mid/late 50's.  This "guy" was probably in his early 30's more than 6' tall and pushing about 250 lbs.  He had tattoos all up and down both arms (was wearing a tank top) and was sporting a "man bun".

Once he saw the weapon he immediately retreated and started shouting how he would "have me arrested for assault".  I shouted back to him that he was free to get my tag number.  Instead he got into his piece of [BLEEP] rice burner car and sped out of the parking lot.  Some of the other patrons in the gas station were laughing and basically applauding me.

The cowards in Portland, Chicago, Seattle and all of the other democrat led cities are all pretty much the same.  They are all "tough" until confronted with real resistance that has a real consequence.

To our brit that moved to Australia, yes I carry a gun.  I don't carry it because I'm "fearful" or because it "makes me feel tough".  I carry it for my protection as well as to protect others should the need arise.
