Are you familiar with the Constitution?

The Constitutional Convention was called as a response to Shays' rebellion.
I answered your question, now tell me, where did the rebels focus their attack?

Just replace "peaceful protestors" with any term that fits.  Rioters, looters, anarchists, law breakers... the list is large but it all means pretty much the same thing.

It was a state courthouse.
The objective was to prevent the judges from presiding over evictions.
They started raiding armories after the governor sent in a mercenary army to dislodge them.
These are the types of high powered lasers rioters have used to damage the eyes of law enforcement. #PortlandRiots #antifa https://t.co/Es5bieo2LO

Peaceful protesters.
You should be able to shoot people who are using high powered laser beams as a weapon. Blinding a federal officer is lethal force as far as I'm concerned.

According to our household loony leftists, they think this whole thing is peaceful and Trump wants to invade them with his SS officers.

In theory, yes, if they know who it was and they have a clear shot.  In practice, they're probably using those laser beams the way a sniper would use a gun, so you can't just fire back. Tactically, you have to flush them out or get over top of them.

I ran into Jerry Nadler in DC and asked him to disavow the Antifa violence/rioting in Portland.

His response?

“THATS A MYTH” https://t.co/veImyE2rju
There are people on this board that used the same defense when I pointed it out during the Floyd riots. Nothing to see here; move along.

This issue could be a litmus test for who is susceptible to gaslighting.

Nadler misheard the question. He thought he was asked about Russia collusion.
Portland has become the poster boy of what will happen in non policed zones and cities. Criminals delight!

I say pull the feds out and let them burn down the courthouse. Then deduct the cost of replacement from any federal funds Portland receives.

That probably only really punishes the honest tax paying citizens of Portland. All those punks out there walk away scot- free and full of themselves/emboldened for their next little war they can start. I believe it is past time to shut them down, with what ever means are necessary. If local Government/LEO's cannot/will not do it then I would expect the Feds should.

Seems the " Time outs "  in place of real discipline has failed our society.
The money will leave those cites. The riots in Detroit took all their money. If they don't fix this soon enough, you'll start seeing an exodus.

Honestly, I can't imagine this isn't being done on purpose. Not so much that it's a conspiracy, but that these cities are being run and taxed into the ground, and this kind of chaos gives leadership a pass of sorts.

What's in Portland? Detroit hung on because they have the auto industry. Seattle isn't too concerned because they have Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, Starbucks and others. Portland has...a desire be like Seattle, I guess.

Maybe the exodus will also change the rioters SLASH protestors viewpoint when their company moves and they don't have a job. If they don't have jobs, we (the people working) can give them $600.00 per week on top of their unemployment ... That way they don't have to get up early to go to work the next day, and can continue protesting late into the night.

Take away the money, and you take away their means to continue ruining their city. Otherwise, why not put an ad in the local paper ... Protestors wanted $600.00+ per week.

Smile We did it to ourselves by funding the protest.
