CJ Henderson will make the pro bowl with the Jaguars. Then we’ll all laugh at this

I sure hope you are right.

If he stays healthy and buys in I don't have any doubt. The best corner from that draft
Well he is going be tested for sure in this division with the WR he will facing.

Lol this division probably has the worst set of WRs in the league. Brown and Julio are dope, the Colts and Texans are severely lacking.

Jags play the NFC West + Falcons WR's. He will be tested.
If we blitz as much a it looks this season, that should and could be a nice help to all the secondary, so they aren't sitting back there trying to cover for ever like sitting ducks without a pass rush

I've learned to take the talking heads with a grain of salt.. First there were reports that he didn't want to be here anymore, which of course, got posters riled up. Then we learned that coaches had to drag him out of his home for practice. Then we learned that he lost some family members, which is why he was dealing with some mental trauma (which is 100% understandable). Posters were reacting as these "news sources" were coming out, one at a time..

And from what we seen from last Saturday night, dude looks really good and should be formidable on this team. The problem is the relay of information about the situation to the fans.. I swear, some of that [BLEEP] was made up for clicks, and that "journalist" should be drug out of his home and given a soap beating..

I don't consider him a bust at all..

I have to agree.  We don't really know what's going on with the guy.  We're only reacting to rumors, and we're jumping to all sorts of conclusions.  After reading all the rumors, I was naturally very surprised to see him playing against Cleveland, and even more surprised to see him playing well.   Based on all the rumors, I was thinking he was another Justin Blackmon.   One of the local scribes even said on the radio, something like, he won't play another down for the Jaguars.  And yet, the very next day, he was out there playing, and playing well.   So who knows?  Maybe he'll bust, and maybe he won't.  We don't know enough for sure to just write him off.

...the one that's old and already hurt?

or did another AFC team make a trade with them that I missed?

Henderson doesn't belong in the bust category yet, but there are troubling signs to go along with the promising ones.  His fate as a player has yet to be sealed.

His fate as a player will be sealed/determined by his play on the field w/o fans trying to determine his fate.

Time Will Tell.

NH3...

That's what I think Urban is doing by building up the secondary so deep. If you're gonna blitz often, better make sure you have the secondary to cover incase it doesn't work... Or repeatedly get burned for huge gains.

I'm just hoping to see improvement in this year. No expectations for playoffs, but man if we end up winning 7 or 8 games that'd be extremely encouraging.

I'd be content if we aren't getting obliterated 35-7 or 42-10, but lose manageable games like 24-17. Eventually, a team will gel and find a way to WIN those games. When you lose 35-7...you just suck

That’s where I’m at as well. When you are walking to the locker room at half, down double digits and haven’t fielded an offense capable of reaching the redzone, then you suck. And that has basically been our team.

I’m not expecting a 1 year turn around. But you know a competitive team when you see one.
Tom Brady went 9 and 7 his first full season starting. I would take that even next year. Hoping for 10 wins next year esp with then17 game season.

Calvin Ridley is a serviceable #1 and the rookie TE is good on paper, but nothing scary after that.
