Twitter rumor circulating that CJ had more than one death in his family in recent months and he's going through it with some difficulty. No idea if that's accurate or not.

I hope he finds the motivation necessary to contribute to this revamped secondary.

(08-10-2021, 01:49 AM)TheO-LineMatters Wrote: [ -> ]No, it's not. I believe Henderson was a ridiculously bad pick. If we gotta drag this guy out of his house just to come to the stadium, what good is that? I rather get something, rather than nothing. Don't you wish we could've gotten a 3rd round pick for Derrick Harvey or Justin Blackmon or Luke Joeckel? I do. We got no production from these guys and nothing in return for them. I don't want a repeat of past mistakes. I hope we have turned a corner and we're finally gonna start making smart moves, which will result in wins. No sense in holding onto guys who have no production and on top of that, off the field issues. That will only hold us back. I wanna start winning.

Dude this barely deserves a response. You've dug in your heels so much on your predraft position about CJ that if he actually plays and plays well I imagine you'll still find some excuse as to why he was a bad selection.
Trading a 2nd year player first round pick for a 3rd round pick would be a worse move than signing Tebow to play TE.
It would be terrible value regardless of your terrible opinion on the matter.
Everyone talking about dragging him out of the house, off field issues, and him not wanting to be here is just you guys' speculation.
As is all the trade scenarios in the internet news.

Get over yourself dude lol

Not true. I actually praised the guy after the first game of the season when he did play well. I thought I might've been wrong about him. Unfortunately, his play got worse with every game, after week 1 until he got injured. I'm just not some "Florida homer" like some people. I'm objective. I look for rookie players to improve throughout the season. Henderson got worse with every game and now, there are rumors about his mental state. That is not a good mix. I'd take a 3rd round pick for him in a heartbeat.

Are you that dense that you took it literally? Are you really that stupid? I think you may have been sniffin too many jocks lately (who knows, maybe that's why you took the job in the first place), beta-male..

I just don't like you.. So really anything you say to me is going to garner a negative response. My apologies..
I hope he can get his head right and he actually wants to be here.

We really can't afford not to have him this year. I think he has potential and could be a very important piece to our struggling defense. Let's hope this all blows ever and we start winning. You know what they say about winning.

Hmm... Certainly can't fault a guy for not having his head 100% in football if that's what has been going on.

Wonder if any tool bags wanna walk back the Ramsey quitter references?
Probably not... That's why they are tool bags.

Wow. I love what Charlie Strong is bringing to this club. What a great communicator.

Still a little difficult to determine what exactly is bothering Henderson but it sounds like it could be a confidence problem. I feel better about his prospects after listening to Charlie Strong. What a guy.

Your favorite corner was Okudah who was trash last year

How does that change his response?

He could like Okudah and be wrong and still be skeptical of CJ Henderson and be right.

Now if there were an Okudah thread where he recently refused to trash him for poor play, your Okudah reference here would be more persuasive.

Truth be told I don't think anyone wants this to even be an issue.  Putting aside our pre draft preferences, I think we all want him to succeed wildly for us.

Right now, however, the prospects of this happening seem increasingly dim.

I said I'd just visit but bullseye I know you see the trend. Most in this thread are concerned with a down rookie yr with injuries and only 1 great game. It's yr 2 and he's not mentally 100% an trade rumors are flying as normal with player absence. Him succeeding is usually a 3 to 4 yr evaluation period but most here are done with his 8 game rookie yr. The narrative is pretty clear about who wants him to succeed. Although, it does sounds about right for the safe zone comment of, "we want him to succeed as we do all jags players." Fans gonna fan tho

extra sarcasm: I wish most had this same energy when they wanted foles. Waste of time, money, n roster space, bit I digress.
