also collin johnson continues to flash at wr.. hell ease the pain from chark..

I really believe Chark is gonna have a breakout season and prove that he is a #1 WR. He's had garbage throwing to him his entire pro career. Now he has a real QB who can utilize his speed and connect with him on the deep ball.

I keep hearing this but outside of week 1 I can't think of any flashes.  He was average at best but again he was a rookie so he gets a pass.

The Green Bay game comes to mind. But I do think he gets a pass. He’s too technical and to athletic to give up on

Urban working his magic? We got a smile!
Lol all 3 people in that picture could feasibly be gone soon. That would make it a very classic picture.

Good catch.  I didn't think of that.
Seeing a smile from CJ Henderson reminds me of someone....

Is that recent? Do they keep it cold in the meeting rooms?

It was yesterday
Don't know if this was posted here, but this is one salty local radio guy's take on CJ's effort/attitude:

He uploaded some videos of his plays tonight to his IG, I guess that's a good sign...

We have a political thread about this if we want to discuss the politics of Covid. I am simply saying that I know a very blue collar guy that had panic disorders for about a month after getting Covid. This is a dude that works and pays the bills and takes care of his family. He kicked it and he's back to working 60 hours a week. It's a well documented phenomenon. A small group of people get really bad anxiety for a short time after having Covid. Scientists aren't sure why. Just throwing it out there for CJ.

Yore absolutely correct.  I have a friend suffering from “long haul” COVID symptoms.  It’s really hard on people mentally and physically.  She said it’s hard for her to make coffee because she’s so tired.  It’s been 6 months and she hasn’t been able to go anywhere.  I don’t care who you are, that’s difficult mentally.

Have her research ivermectin, supposed to help get rid of the spike proteins and repair some of the longhall issues. Probably won't get much help from her doctor but there are some who are willing to help other than just saying live with it.

He shut up a lot of people Saturday.

He looked good. I couldn't tell he even missed a minute of training camp.
Looked like he is ready to grow in yr 2 as he should be. Enjoying the different opinions and takes on his progress or lack their off. we'll see by mid yr how many more either jump off the ship or jump back on.

Last year had to wear on him and the team, everyone knew they were gone after the year and you could tell he hated the defense game plan as the rest of the players did.

Definitely. I hated the scheme since Ramsey was acting like a lil' we know what. CJ has the talent, I believe, but has to continue to improve and show the FO and fans he is all in. Mentally, he is hurting like most ppl would be; but this is the what have u done for me lately type of career. He has to show he has it and keep improving and last yr he did not do it consistently like some rookies. I'm hoping for the best but u have to start and/or finish strong to calm the naysayers.

CJ will be fine. They really went after him, probably because they knew how little practice he has had and wanted to help him out...Wink He stood up fine.
I think CJ will be a force for years to come. Campbell flashed, but also showed he was not ready to start on the outside with that TD he gave up.

He looked in very good form on most snaps I saw him play.
Fingers crossed he's motivated to do that week in and week out all year.
He's an impressive athlete when he's on.
