Having the warrant unsealed is a good move. Raiding the residence of a former POTUS is no small thing and the public needs to know.

Pardon my ignorance,  does that mean something similar to being open to the public about the details or like a “dismissal with or without prejudice”
Unfortunate but True.

Trump will use stall tactics w/respect to dragging out any and all legal matters against him by counter sueing like he always does. He mentioned that any evidence found that could be used against him during the raid was planted by the FBI. Now his supporters are chanting "Defund The FBI". He SWEARS that he's done nothing illegal but he has invoked his 5th. amendment rights to all questions asked of him except his name. What is he hiding?

Trump was born w/a silver spoon in his mouth and he thinks that he's invincible and could get away w/any and everything. In due time these issues that are being sought after by the Gov. Will come to the light. It always does.

Time Will Tell.

We can at least know the grounds for the warrant. They claim it doesn't concern January 6th and it's all about the records. We'll see.

He invoked the 5th in a civil matter completely unrelated to this. Big difference.
Nuclear secrets/information you say?... Lock his [BLEEP] up.

Come on, it's all made up crap because they found nothing. They already reviewed the files in the boxes and could have accessed them or asked to take them back.

Maybe we will actually get to see the warrant but I doubt we see the actual "proof" they used to get the warrant.

Reminder. You can't really trust anything you hear in the media anymore. The media is capable of convincing you that you can't even trust anything you hear from your own fart that you pushed out of your butt cheeks.
If he actually had top-secret nuclear documents at Mar-a-Lago that would be pretty serious. Unsealing the warrant would tell us what they were looking for. Right now all we have is speculation.

What they are not unsealing is the reason they asked for a warrant, for example what evidence did they have that might require such a raid on his residence. I assume the reason they are not unsealing that is because they have to protect their source. But that leaves so many questions unanswered.

That's what they want. Speculation. If it were serious? The hammer should have already been brought down on him. The problem is that you're having to trust and rely on some of the most untrustworthy and unreliable agencies to ever grace this planet.

Whatever it was, or wasn't. I am sure a "truth bomb" will be dropped conveniently during the highest political time and interest of the year. Midterms.
According to Trump’s former Chief of Staff, Mick Mulvaney, there are only 6 to 8 people in Trump’s inner circle who would have known about the safe or where these boxes of documents were located. Whoever tipped off the FBI is very close to Trump. It’s speculated that Jared Kushner (no surprise there) to perhaps one of his children dropping the dime.
What makes that so alarming is if someone that close notified the FBI, how secretive and potentially damaging to national security are the documents?

Regardless if the documents are damning, this may provide the impetus for the RNC to wash their hands of Trump. The motivations are multifaceted. This could be a movie script.

Reading your post about the most untrustworthy and unreliable stuff I thought you must be talking about Trump, but then I remembered what message board I'm looking at.

If the warrant were actually looking for something inconsequential then Trump could have just released it himself, it's entirely within his rights to do so. The fact that he hasn't should have you asking yourself why he hasn't done so if the raid was everything he said it is.

If Trump took top secret nuclear documents as a souvenir and showed them to people, that is pretty wild.  I have to chuckle at that possibility.  It would be very Trump-like.  He likes to show off.

As for the RNC washing their hands of him, I don't think they have the integrity to do that.  They want his supporters, who are numerous and motivated.

As far as my opinion of the whole affair, I think for the good of the country we need to thread the needle on this.  I don't want to make him a martyr, and even if he's obviously guilty of a serious crime, he'll claim the evidence was planted by the FBI, his supporters will believe him, and throwing him in jail would tear the country apart.  Show the evidence, and let him off the hook.  That's what I would do.

I agree. However, if they can prove he hoarded such high level documents, you would see his support drop dramatically. Yes, there is a sizable cadre of walk-on-water fanatics out there, but there’s also a big portion that would regard this as reckless and inexcusable. Lol, I know, that’s another debate.
This is so beyond comprehension to me.
Everything I wrote about Trump possibly hoarding classified documents, I was thinking of something more innocuous than nuclear codes.
You guys know how I feel about the guy. I have doubted his motives and integrity from the beginning. But even I can't imagine why he would want to delve into nuclear secrets, let alone hoard them.

We don’t know if the documents have anything to do with nuclear secrets. That’s red meat being thrown by the MSM. I’m not saying they aren’t but we just don’t know.

I could careless. I didn't vote for Trump. I also didn't vote for Biden. I don't believe in the two party paradigm [BLEEP] this country likes to force and inflict upon it's citizens every two and four years.

If you really think, by now, after ALL of the [BLEEP] this country's government has done, including blue ties and red ties, the FBI, the CIA, Homeland Security, the bankers, etc. That they're all good and not up to any bad dealings. Especially if you take one side over the other. You're another sheep that's been long overdue for the great culling.

It's all theater. They're ALL in bed together. They ALL bump elbows while eating at the same exact tables and drinking at the same exact parties. It's a load of [BLEEP]. In my honest opinion, Trump was utilized to get ahead of the growing concerns and mistrust of Uncle Sam in general as more and more freedom and more and more forums were generated through the public through various platforms.

It's called controlled opposition. A literal "Trump Card" used by the ruling class and plutocracy of our Government and all around the world. Have fun voting for another liar or turd that just does the federal reserve's bidding like a good little [BLEEP]. Who just does the MIC's bidding like a good little [BLEEP].

Very revealing post, thanks for sharing.
So assuming the reports are true and they where looking for nuclear documents why did it take almost two years to act? Did they not know they where missing? I'm not sure any answer is very reassuring.
