You mean like a HOF QB?

If you're referring to Kurt Warner and his opinion? I'd bet good money that hes probably watched a total of 3 games that Lawrence has played in the NFL, if that even.

I'd also like to see where this HoF QB said Lawrence doesn't have it, because I doubt that happened as well.

It's as if you don't understand that Trevor isn't a franchise QB until he actually plays like one.

I know you bought the generational thing but he has too play like one too...

I didn't buy [BLEEP], its just obvious that you're upset that Lawrence is playing great football and making some of you look very foolish.
Not sure why all the fighting. This was clearly a breakout game. Highest QBR in his career and a hard fought game winning drive against a great team. I said we would know it when we saw it in another thread. Well, we all saw it.
What is even going on in here?

Yeah, but the problem is that I've been critical of how Lawrence played in the past and even dared to be concerned about his overall progress. He can't understand that even though Lawrence's been pretty bad for a number of games.

I'm sorry but I'm calling what I see, not what I want to see.

Just can't understand why some can't be happy we've finally found our QB. We've searched long enough and taken enough wrong turns but not this time.

I'm pretty convinced that most of the people gnashing teeth about Trevor at this point either never watch any other QBs except Tom Brady, or are trolls.

I mean, Jackson is a former MVP, and Trevor outplayed him today, and Jackson got to play against the Jaguars defense.

I suppose another possibility is they only ever watch the Jaguars and our defense has made every QB we play against look incredible for years.

Trevor doesn't get to play against the Jaguars defense, he has to play against real NFL defenses.

Yeah we do have a group of people who as soon as Lawrence has a good game run to their computer to come on here and say he sucks. Weird.

You could certainly see a difference between Lamar and Lawrence today in arm ability and throw accuracy and a lot of the time Lawrence had 2 or more guys about to take his head off.

You make a good point about some of the Jags D's that opposition QB's have gone against. Could run or pass on them at will and put up great stat lines without actually having to play that great.
WOW, I missed the 4 Ty Quarter on TV due to traveling for work, but I caught it on the radio. People thought I was crazy driving down the highway honking my horn. lol

I have been waiting to see Trevor do this and boy did he. Great game young Man…

His play has been up and down enough to cast doubt on his ability to actually be a franchise QB. I think some people here forget that it's not only on this message board that discussion has been had. Someone like Kurt Warner said, this week, that Lawrence needs to be more consistent. He has been better the last few games though so maybe Warner, Mariucci and the others will be more positive.

Today's W also means this was probably his breakout game.

Strongly disagree with that take. No QB is always perfect. Mahomes has had bad games, Allen has had a rough stretch, Brady and Rodgers been poor. This is Lawrence's first year with Doug and this system and will only get better with time and when we strengthen the roster with players like Ridley and other additions he will only get better.

If you had to rank the QB's in this league where would you put him?

Look around the league, plenty of teams would kill for a QB like Lawrence. The reign of Brady, Rodgers, Manning, Brees, Rosthlisberger etc is ending and the new generation is emerging and Lawrence will be right up there in that group. 100%.

Imagine coming in here trying to settle people down after this game and that drive. You’d have to be a contrarian’s contrarian or a troll.

It’s truly unbelievable. After the QB play we have sat through for years… Today was an elite performance from our guy after 2 very good weeks coming into this game. We should all be celebrating together.

Everything you would want from a QB. Big time throws under real pressure from the rush. Plus no TO's, under 2 minutes and missing Etienne.

That throw to Zay was perfection.
I give credit to the TD passes Trevor had. But I also hold him accountable for the two fumbles. The first resulted in a short field that the Ravens converted to a TD. The second would have given the game to Baltimore if they had recovered it.

Not fighting, just me calling out bull [BLEEP] when I see it.

True.  Gotta be some just making attempts at being the smartest guy in the room.  There are times where it’s ok to just be a fan.  This is one of those times.

Great [BLEEP] game to just be a fan and great game to take in live at the stadium.  If instead of enjoying this, someone is logging on to tell all the other faithful to sit down and calm down, the problem isn’t the fan base or Trevor.  It’s that someone. Re-evaluate why you watch sports. Days like today are why the majority of us are invested in the NFL and the team.
Yes. Today was awesome.
Lawrence has been on fire the last few games.
Also has some wheels

To be clear, Trevor's shown Brady like traits with pocket awareness. He's flirted with that 2 second ball gone DOWN THE FIELD command of the offense. That's more exciting to me than anything.

Having said that, we ain't gotta lie to kick it. Herbert has a stronger arm.
This was the game I've been wanting to see from him. This was the turning point game for me.
