Press Taylor said the reason Trevor was throwing ints is because they've almost exclusively doing red zone and third down drills. He also said the defense knew what they'd be doing since they did it from 5, 10, and 15, but that he asked them to disguise the coverage. Sounds like he's pushing Trevor early.

He's being sarcastic because everyone bashed the offense for struggling in PRACTICE, and now when the 1st string offense dominates through the air (after pads finally come on)  no one is bashing the defense for struggling.

The whole wringing of hands over incompletions and picks during the first week of camp is laughable.

He's being sarcastic because everyone bashed the offense for struggling in PRACTICE, and now when the 1st string offense dominates through the air (after pads finally come on)  no one is bashing the defense for struggling.

I still don't get it LOL.  The good teams you see back and forth wars between the offense and defense and it's looking like this is what it's turning into.  If the defense has actually bad then I could get the whoosh.  Back and forth is what you want to see not a one sided beat down

Let me make it even more simple for you :

If 60% of the fan base was losing their collective minds about Trevor and the offense struggling in the first week of camp - why aren't those some morons losing their minds about the defense getting whooped today during only their second day in pads? (after the first day in pads also showed an uptick in offensive execution) 

It was a joke making fun of fan overreaction, bud.

Oh yeah -  a number of the local talking heads went a bit batty getting fans worked up over it and Gene Frenette topped the sports page in the Times Union with "Lawrence not playing like $275 million" LOL

It's a shame really. My own family is like this. In particular, my father and youngest brother. I just laugh it off. Like I said. No reason to panic until they struggle during the preseason and show the same mishaps carrying over from practice. 

Even then, we'll probably have joint practices with the Chiefs leading up to the preseason opener, so, it'll be a good little competition throughout the entirety of that week and game for the first team's on offense and defense respectively.

And now the team has added a LB/S special teams ace... hoping that isn't a reaction to bad news on Dewey's knee, but it doesn't bode well. 

They had room to add a guy after waiving the kicker, so may be unrelated.
