It's tough to support a coach who is averaging 3.4 wins a year, particularly when the "defensive coach," led his defense to 24th place in the NFL in his third year. If you can't get to even numbers in your third year, the time should be up.
Look at veteran John Fox, he was at Denver for 4 years, but got tossed because he didn't take his team to win the Superbowl, after going to 3 AFC Divisional games and a Superbowl appearance. Look at Andy Reid, he has 3 seasons where he lost more games than he won in 17 years.
Look at brand new to head coaching in the NFL Bill O'Brien, he took a 2-14 team and produced 9-7 in his first two seasons, all with shite for QBs. Looks at Jim Harbaugh, he comes in his first NFL head coaching job and goes to NFC Division Championship, lost in the Superbowl, NFC Division Championship, but he goes 8-8 and he and the team have a "mutual disagreement." Now look at Chip Kelly: 10-6, 10-6, 6-9 and he's fired.
In my opinion "rebuilding a team" is like lighting a fuse and it's going to go off soon: NFL teams need to have high standards, you win or you don't win, and it better be very, very fast.

He needs to call the defense like Del Rio did.

My point was, we clearly know, and have known for months now that you and those like you wish to get rid of the coach. It's beyond the point of, "I'll respectfully disagree with your opinion." to "WILL YOU PLEASE JUST SHUT THE HEEEEELLL UP!"
That's why I get so irritated is because I'm trying to look out for my fellow fan and saying hey, stop hitting your head on the wall over and over again expecting a different result. Id imagine that you're notorious for posting fire Gus Bradley content in threads that are unrelated.
It's greatly diminished the quality of the board content as such because instead of being a mature adult and contribute sound and logical posts, you and your posse whine like little spoiled children.
So then I ask, do we need to crowd fund for some bah-bahs and binkies? Need some diapers and a cute little sky blue onesie? What I'm trying to point out is you have well established your opinion, so why keep on?
This guy's such a clown, insert juggling pins here.

Real question.
You can't get relief from the non stop ramblings of wanting to fire and/or cut someone.
You obviously get no relief, because the posts keep coming.

I think you might want to Google the term catharsis...
Also, one could ask you almost the same question... why do you keep harping on people who are slamming the coach?
Once you answer the question of why you constantly attack those who are constantly attacking the head coach, you may be able to understand why some people post about the same topic alot.
Also, have you considered that this is just a real great way of killing time, or occupying a posters mind, etc while at work?

That's a bit harsh.
I only attack the densest of the dense. And if calling a moron a moron is seen as attacking, well so be it.
A) I "harp" on those posters because I get enough childish nonsense from my kids. I get tired of coming to a place where I like to read tidbits and opinions on our team, only to have every thread derailed, every scum bum with a computer hops on here and floods the board with repetitive posts. Banging the same drum over and over. It's annoying.
I know what catharsis means son. By definition, you're saying you get relief from posting the same "I HATE BRADLEY" stuff over and over. But you don't, otherwise at some point, you'd be "relieved" and wouldn't feel the need to post the same mumbo jumbo.
B ) I too enjoy "killing time" on the board. It is why I come here. What I don't get is that at least 10-12 of you posters wake up every day to come here and post the same wah wah wah stuff. (But if you're at "work" you should be working)
Yo Boy, Thundercat, rocdee... same ol song and dance, every single day. I didn't know McD's allowed employees online during work hours.
The difference between myself and the trolls of the board is that I can say my piece and have an intelligent and sometimes enlightening conversation with many posters on here.
But a few posters seem to only be friendly with people that beat the same drum. Sure, sometimes I get hot... get into some nonsensical back and forths...
That's when I choose to take a break.
Wrapping it up...
you get no relief from being negative. Negativity breeds negativity. Hate breeds hate.
And getting all worked up like a bibber changes nothing, not your attitude, not the team, nothing.
Facts are facts. Nothing said or done here has any effect on the team. So while a conversation of "options of back up QBs" could be a nice thread.... it is sure to be over-run in a matter of minutes with people just wanting to complain that others don't see their way.
--before you fire off with "you do the same" No, I don't.
You can have your opinion -- Gus is horrible, Henne is horrible... that's fine. But they aren't going anywhere, and that makes you mad, (not YOU YOU) and that's kind of sad.

It was not our intention to attack the whiners, but after so much of it, it became a thing. Think of it like a kid. The make a funny sound and the first few times you laugh, but they keep doing it. And doing it. And doing it. Aaaannnnnd doing it. Parents you know what I mean. Finally you're like EEEERRRMMEERRRRGEEERRRDDD SHAAADDDAAAAAPPPPP!!!

good call. most won't. they did the same with Del Rio and the whole "In Gus we trust" train. I respect those who admit it. some blindly follow and get mad at others for having an opinion that differs. we all love the same franchise and team....maybe not all the same players and coaches/leaders. it's simple.

I think it would be interesting to hear your perspective and what was it that changed your mind from wanting him as the Jaguars head coach. Anyone?
Have not has. Dang it.
I don't think I was ever a Yes Gus man but I did and still do hope that he is successful since GM Dave Caldwell picked him to lead my favorite team at the helm.
I like his personality he seems to be a nice guy that encourages his staff to excel and wants the best for them even if they have to depart ways for whatever reason.
When it comes to being a Head Coach he has done great in certain areas and failed miserably in others, like some of the young guys on the team he's learning & improving as times goes on....
I hope that this season 2016 will be his HC breakout year with tons of success now with a great DC (Hopefully, fingers crossed), and an offense that works in a weak division the team should go to the Post Season.
I guess I will be more optimistic after the draft. If it is a better draft than that of his 2nd year 2014's draft (Allen Robinson, M. Lee, Bortles, etc) than I will be very excited but if its like his first draft 2013 (Luke Joeckel, McCray, etc) than I'll be on here talking about the new HC and GM.

He is not a good coach. I'm hoping we can be one of those teams that gathers enough talent to make him look like one though.

How anyone can be "pro Gus" from a head coaching standpoint blows my mind. I can understand liking the guy but he's just not cutting it as a head coach here. It's been slapping you in the face every Sunday. For three years.

John Fox got "tossed" from Denver for wanting to move on from Peyton Manning at QB.
Andy Reid was displaced in Philly because he was there forever and sometimes, the freshness is what a team needs. Chip Kelly ruined whatever leftovers Reid had left him.
Harbaugh took a team that was already built. If the previous coach had been given another season or two, I have no doubt the 9ers would have had their solid 2-3 year run anyway.
BoB is interesting... yeah, he's had crap for QBs for the most part, but he's had a dominate D.
NONE of these teams had a true complete rebuild when these coaches came in, nor did any of them do that when the coach went out.
Blame Caldwell all you want for doing something way different than other clubs. But truth is, no coach would have won many games with this team in their first two seasons.
