Should've just lit the draft card on fire; it wouldn't get burned as much as this clown.

***Official Jaguars Vs. New York Giants Game Day Thread - Second Half***
Posted by: AmeliaIsland - 11-30-2014, 03:28 PM - Replies (884)

New York Football Giants lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars at halftime 21-3.

Giants QB Eli Manning is 15/19 for 177 yards, and 1 TD, while the Jags own Blake Bortles is 8 for 17, for 79 yards, and 0 TD.

After a scoreless first quarter by both teams, the New York Football Giants scored 21 straight points, with two touchdown runs by and from RB Rashard Jennings from 2 yards and 17 yards. Giants QB Eli Manning also threw a 3-yard TD pass to WR Preston Parker in between the Jennings TD runs. And with Josh Brown's three PAT's, the N.Y. Football Giants lead 21-0.

Jaguars finally got on the scoreboard with 7 minutes left in the second quarter, but the touchdown attempt was unfortunately nullified by a penalty from OT Luke Joekel. Jaguars had to instead settle for a 28-yard field goal by Josh Scobee, to cut down the N.Y. Giants lead to 21-3.

After his dismissal from the Jacksonville Jaguars, N.Y. football Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin eventually lead the G-Men to two victories over the New England Patriots in both Super Bowl XLII, and Super Bowl XLVI.

Will Jaguars QB Blake Bortles lead the Jaguars to an upset over the 3-8 New York Football Giants? Stay tuned for and in the second half, and GO JAGUARS!!!!! Smile B) ^_^

Except football....

Lou Brown: [at a team meeting] Can I have your attention, please?

[picks up a bat and leans on it like a walking stick]

Lou Brown: I have something I think you all ought to know about. It seems that Mrs. Phelps doesn't think too highly of our worth. She put this team together because she thought we'd be bad enough to finish dead last, knocking attendance down to the point where she could move the team to Miami... and get rid of all of us for better personnel.

Roger Dorn: Even me?

Lou Brown: Even you, Dorn.

Eddie Harris: What if we DON'T finish last?

Lou Brown: She'll REPLACE you with somebody who WILL. After this season, you'll be sent back to the minors or given your outright release.

Jake Taylor: [Jake stands up] Well then I guess there's only one thing left to do.

Roger Dorn: What's that?

Jake Taylor: Win the whole thing.

I think its finally happened...Apathy has taken me

Watching this team completely fall off the wheels especially when it was looking so good at one point has just broke me as a Jaguars fan. Not sure I care to watch them anymore. I doubt I even believe in bortles anymore much less bradley.

Anyone else starting to feel this?

Vegas Odds - Jaguars vs. Giants

Interesting...

I just looked at the odds for today's game.  Jaguars are +3 and the over/under is at 44.

I would place a bet on the Jaguars and probably take the under in this game.

To describe the above odds, if you place a bet on the Jaguars, you are betting that they either win, or lose by no more than 3 points.

  Playoff coming into focus
Posted by: rfc17 - 11-30-2014, 09:35 AM - Replies (5)

As teams keep falling out, playoffs coming into more focus.  Miss St is out.  Ohio St, which is a bummer for them, is probably going to be left out.  Not even sure they beat Wisconsin next week.

Right now we'll have Alabama, Oregon, FSU, TCU/Baylor.

Alabama and Oregon I think are the two best teams in the country.  Both have tough matchups next week in the championship games but I think both will win.  Especially with the playoffs on the line.

Who knows about FSU.  They're playing worse and worse with each passing week.  GaTech played well yesterday but they'll need to play better.  They cant rely on FSU to fumble at the goaline twice like UGA did.  Or rely on one of those "Mark Richt specials" where he basically put them in FG range at the end of the regulation.  With Tech's running game if they can control the clock and if they make sure they can turn those drives into touchdowns, they could definitely win.

TCU/Baylor remains the interesting one. TCU should cruise next week.  Baylor has a tough game against Kansas St.  Will be interesting to see who the committee chooses.  Personally I think if TCU and Baylor played 100 times on a neutral field that TCU would win more than half of them.
