Quote:Luck threw a pick. Needs to sit and learn more.

He's got hit with a couple of sacks too.  Better let him sit, wouldn't want him to get a boo boo he's clearly not ready to handle it and the OL isn't gelled yet.
And indy has a bad line, bad running attack. Why throw him to the wolves, why rush?

Herp derp....

Blake is on the bench learning how to choke and suck and make it sound like we made big strides.

I was actually surprised at the amount of shots that Henne took down the field today.  A few of them barely missed connecting in the third quarter.  However, the most frustrating play had to be on the fourth down when overthrew a wide open Lewis, who is one of the biggest targets on the team, on a two or three yard pass...

Quote:I would like to hear the answers from those who kept saying sitting Bortles was the right answer.

Also I know someone will comment that it was a coaches decision and that my opinion doesn't matter. In the end nobody's opinion really matters but we can criticize the decision making of this team.
What? Starting Henne has NOTHING TO DO with the coaching staff thinking he's a better quarterback than Bortles, or that he gives the team the best chance to win right away. It's about THE DEVELOPMENT OF BLAKE BORTLES. It's possible they throw him out there soon because he is clearly much further along than anyone anticipated, but it was ALWAYS about protecting and nurturing Bortles' future by having him sit, watch, learn and wait. Particularly while the o-line gets patched up so he's not thrown into a fire and the receiver situation gets sorted out.

If you think the coaching staff is starting Henne right now because they think he gives them the best chance to win on Sunday then you have clearly let this slip over your head.

That throw to brown on third down was terrible too. That 's the thing, of you're gonna be a short to intermediate thrower, you gotta at least throw an accurate ball.

Andrew Luck was and is still in the fire. And the colts are still better off for it. You know why? Because their stud qb is on the field.

You cant preach that the best players will play , then not play the best player at the most important position in the game. It makes everything else look SO much better.

Tell me what he will learn from not being involved in the offense as the starter.
Another performance like today, Gus' hand will be forced.

Are you watching the game right now?
The move has to be made soon.

Instead of witty one liners why not answer the question: do you believe Chad Henne gives us the best chance to win?
Quote:Are you watching the game right now?

I'm speaking in general. With him theyre a playoff team, without him they arent.
I cannot believe anyone would defend Henne ( cough, FBT) the dude is NOT an NFL starter. He sucks, sucks, sucks. Make him a coach if he is that great of guy, but don't give him the ball anymore. I am tired of watching them lose, especially when they could have won!

Is that about Henne?
60 yards in the second half. all there is to say.

but, but, but... receivers were dropping balls, and his o-line is terrible...
Come on Gus! Don't make us suffer another year, Let the kid start! This is getting ridiculous and making it extremely hard to be a Jags fan. WE NEED SOMETHING TO CHEER ABOUT. No Tebow and now this? YOURE BLOWING IT COACH!
