I assumed when Beth died, I wouldn't have to suffer through her singing on the show anymore -_-

Quote:Tyrese came from Jax in the show, so I guess we can assume Jax was overrun pretty bad?
Seriously?! Hmm, I don't recall that! How funny.

I know. As soon as I saw her with the guitar, I was like "SERIOUSLY"?!?!
I liked Tyrese, will miss the contrast between his gentle nature and how he could mow through a pack of walkers. But, c'mon Tyrese, you went upstairs knowing there was a walker, and you stop to look at photos before clearing the house?

That was my thought, clear the house first man you've been alive long enough to know this!
Dibs on the framing hammer!
I thought the show made him too wimpy, he was bound to die at some point. He died in such a noob way, you would expect someone to die like that the first months into the zombie apocalypse.

Excellent premier. I loved the artistic direction of this episode.

I was surprised his death wasn't a little more shocking in its manner. I think it was Nicottero who said the stars will always have the most memorable deaths ala Herschel, Beth, Lori, etc. he just got bit and had to listen to Beth sing. Boring

Yeah when she started singing I would've just took the hammer to the head a couple of times.  Speaking of Herschel it's actually Tyreese who gets his head cut off in front of everyone by da Guvnah,  in the comics

Very noticeable.

I thought it was memorable in that the whole episode centered around him.  The others were just a split second and everyone going nuts.

I agree that it was one of the more memorable. I really enjoyed how they brought back some of the folks from the past who had passed as ghosts/spirits/visions. It was very calming to Tyreese especially, and also the viewers.

I wish they would have said he was a former Jag.

That was all.

I thought it was a bit boring for an opener, took the whole show just to kill one person. I wish they stop with the reflections and wish not to see Beth or those two little girls again!! Glad the show is back though Smile
I'll always welcome a return appearance from Lizzie.

I was bummed man. I wanted to see Tyreese go out more heroically than the way he went out. I know in the comics he basically got killed off at the Prison by the Governor's doing. But I always felt like a strong character like him would have went out saving the group during a bad situation. The one interesting thing to note about his death though. Who or how did Noah's little brother get out of that bedroom? Did Noah open it for him? And why was Tyreese so dazed by the pictures on the bulletin of the twins? Something odd there.... I don't know if I can trust this Noah characther so much. Also, if this little neighboorhood area was so great, why did he bolt South for Atlanta to begin with? And also, what's up with those bodies being decapitated? They were torn clean in half from where it was evident somebody had smashed open that back wall into the neighboorhood purposely.

I think there was another door between the two bedrooms. As for the pictures, I think it was the sad fact of how happy the boys were as compared to what they found at the house.

There must be an interesting story about that neighborhood. First, there's a wreck between a car and a truck in the middle of the woods, then they discover the top halves of all those bodies, in that truck.

Something ain't right there.

I haven't read the comics but there was some clues in the show kinda pointing towards future events. I'm thinking the next "villains" they encounter will be The Wolves. The graffiti painted on the fence when they first entered the gate said "WOLVESNEARBY" which makes me think is what happened in the gated community. As the group was leaving and they cracked open the back of the truck they discovered the missing torsos and heads with the heads having a "W" carved into their foreheads. I'm thinking this will be the last obstacle until they reach D.C. That's my theory anyway.
