Beth is like 30 playing a 16 year old lol.

Quote:My husband and I have been watching from S1 again because he missed so much the first time around. We just started S3 and the time between S2 & 3 the actor who plays Carl (Chandler Riggs) hit a growth spurt like nobody's business. And again between 3 & 4, though not quite as noticeable. Pretty soon he's going to hit puberty if he hasn't already. He's 15 so maybe he already did. I don't have kids so I have no idea when that happens for boys.

I hope they don't recast. I like Chandler as Carl, though I haven't always liked the character.

And Carol at the end is what made the whole episode worth it.

Many men hit puberty and stay there.

Hahaha. So true. Poor things. ;-)

The craziest was the chick who played Andrea in the original 90210. She was 35 and playing a teenager.
Quote:Crazy episode last night. I have been wondering what happened to Beth and that little shot of Carol getting wheeled in at the end raises a ton of questions. My first of which, what happened to Daryl.

My theory is that Daryl and Carol met Noah. Carol pretends to be weak to be taken to the hospital. While Daryl and Noah go back to Rick for reinforcements.

That was flat out awful.

OTOH, Beth is convincing.
Wow, she's 29...

She was on the Talking Dead the other night and my teenage son said "When did she grow up!?"

I like Beth. She's survived a lot considering everything. She mentally survived a suicide attempt and that is no small feat. I think there's more to her and this episode showed some of that, but everything else about it sucked. Except Carol at the end.

I did like the fact that her wrist cutting was pointed out by the crazy cop. I thought the writers would completely forget about it.
Beth is 29?!? :o I had no idea.

Someone mentioned Carl. In season 1 & 2 I didn't care for him much. I didn't like the character or the actor who played him, but man he's become quite the little actor!! Sometimes you get little kids who are ok actors, but as they grow they end up being terrible! He's really good and I love how much they've developed Carl. I also love watching him grow up on the show. I'm waiting for the season when Judith does that weird TV growth spurt and she's wielding a kids sized ax or something.

Well they introduced herds, and revealed Eugene is a watcher and that he's a high school science teacher turned meth cook.

So did Abraham kill Eugene?

What's different about herds then the rest of walkers that didn't seem like anything new?

Jesse Pinkman cameo imminent.

Doubt he killed him, unless they deviate a bit, but this season seems to follow it (albeit still roughly) more than the previous seasons.

There's nothing different, other than it being hundreds of zombies traveling together.  Though there are some intense run ins with them.
It was a decent episode. The reveal of Eugene was a surprise to me (haven't read the comics). Abraham's reaction was what I expected. I just really want to know who showed up with Daryl back at the church 2 episodes ago.

I'm guessing it's the black guy that escaped from the hospital, maybe he mentions Beth and where to find her.

Gravity seems to works differently in Atlanta.
