Really looking forward to the spin off of it this summer. Looks pretty good.

And of course, October can't come soon enough either :woot:
Norman and Emily are dating in real life.

Now I'm heartbroken.. I was thinkin I had a chance with her..
For those interested in the graphic novels, a third compendium is coming in October, just in time for the new season.

If you haven't read them yet and are interested, I'd highly recommend them.

I'm not sure what specific graphic release is roughly comparable to the show's current timeline (especially since many of the storylines have changed,) but it's part way into the second compendium.  Each compendium covers 48 issues, and IMO they don't really spoil the show.  In fact, to me, the opposite is true.  I enjoy reading the original inspiration for the show, and to me the thrill is seeing how they translate, reshape, and retell the story on TV.

You can find the third compendium on pre-sale at Amazon.

I tried reading the comics. I fell off quick. Just not a fan I guess of the comic way of writing I think.

The show would be somewhere in to 70's in terms of issues just going off memory looking at the covers.
Any word on when the spin off is airing?

It starts in August.

Ugh not soon enough
My dilemma on Sunday night's has always been do I watch Sunday Night Football or Walking Dead. I DVR the Walking Dead and Sunday Night Football, and usually watch one until commercials come on, and then catch up with the other one. Depending on whose playing, I usually watch Walking Dead first.

My kids are usually up, so I DVR it until Monday morning before work. The only time I broke that rule last season was the finale and then I made them go to the play room because I couldn't stand the "who is gonna die" suspense.

I DVR, then avoid social media etc as best I can to steer clear of spoilers.

(Unless I'm up late and watch it after the kids go to bed.)

Looks like the herd finally showed up, thought that was going to be last seasons finale, but I guess it'll be the midseason finale this year.

Good grief. I don't want to see the whole season in one clip. This is when showing less is more. But it looks pretty good.
So here's a thing. I'm not a Walking Dead fan at all, zombies just aren't my thing. But I just finished running around Petco Park in San Diego in an Escape from the Walkers kind of thing.

Zombies are gross.

Resistance is futile.  Oh wait, wrong show...
Can't link it on my phone but they released the trailer for the spinoff, " fear the walking dead " looks pretty good.

I'll have to check it out. My husband was asking about it.

Already looks better than the current show imo.
