Oops! Meant to actually respond above.

Anyway, right according to the show everyone is infected so as soon as you die, your a walker. I guess it's the logic of it even though it's complete make believe, you wouldn't turn from a bite unless the bite killed you. So if merely getting bit turns you, why not getting splattered with guts in the mouth or eye? Probably just need to not worry about it, but that's illogical!!
It's not Ebola! Smile

Herschel got bit and he didn't turn they cut his leg off before the bite killed him.
Yeah everyone has the disease regardless of how they die, in the comics the reveal came at the prison when Tyrese's daughter dies from getting shot and she turns, I forget who they did it with on the show...Shane?

Though I'm not sure how the biting seems to work, it seems if you already have the virus then getting bit shouldn't do much (i can understand if they ripped off a chunk of your arm and it gets infected, but just getting bit seems lame.  Probably over thinking it though.

Quote:Or since Bob just "came to" and realized the situation, just starts laughing hysterically.

Then shows them his wound.

It's like you're psychic.
Thank god for downloads that last 10 minutes was almost unwatchable.

On the plus side, I am glad they finally figured out how to end a plot line without it taking a full season, though on the downside I feel they'll drag on in this next area.

On plus side they got rid of Glenn so hopefully they keep him to a minimum, but on the downside they also shipped off the eye candy.

On the plus side some of them are headed towards DC
so maybe we get to see Negan smash Glenn's head in
on the downside Beth somehow isn't dead despite being THE most useless, and uninteresting character on the show.

I'm glad they offed the Terminus crew. From the preseason previews I got the impression there would be some kind of uneasy alliance between them and Rick's crew.

Speaking of Rick, he would make Shane proud. He can indeed do what needs to be done.

I thought the same thing when i saw previews. That would have incredibly difficult to buy so I'm glad with how it went down. Prefer how the comics did it but this wasn't bad either.

As long as they don't build their own sets (like the prison) they should keep moving along and not stay in one spot too long. Moving around is when this show is at its best.
Can't believe they split up again. Ugh....wasn't that the new rule? Do not split up!

Anyway, if they end up this entire season being seperated trying to find BETH, that won't be cool. I am really looking forward to them moving on to a new locale and getting out of GA! I think DC would be a pretty cool place to find a new sanctuary, although I have a feeling they'll make sure they find some woods to walk around in somewhere.

That's exactly what I was thinking when he was hacking away on that dude.

I wasn't expecting that to happen at all. I'm glad it happened. There was no other way to take care of that. Unless they had tied them up and put them in the room with Bob so when he turned he could have some revenge even if he didn't know it. I was kind of hoping for that actually.
Tainted Meat!!!
Its like a big game of Clue..

Rick in the church with the machete..
Not happy they split up, again, either.

Really liked how they dealt with Terminus quickly. Garrett getting his fingers shot off was a nice touch. Great scene with TAINTED MEAT tool. As a comics fan, I loved it.

Ugh terrible episode, some of the scenes were laughably bad...Why waste an episode on Beth?  They should have Daryl say "i found her body she was dead" and let that be the end of it.

I couldn't stand the characters in this episode.

Crazy episode last night. I have been wondering what happened to Beth and that little shot of Carol getting wheeled in at the end raises a ton of questions. My first of which, what happened to Daryl.

side note: I was wondering if anybody can explain how much time has elapsed since the outbreak happen.I ask this because Carl has aged quite a bit,but the baby is still an infant... eventually the show Wil not be able to portray Carl as a kid.

In the comics at this point in time after they left the prison and are on the way to DC it's only been a little over a year, Kirkman doesn't keep an exact date but they have little reference points like Lori and Rick talking about it being close to Christmas, Morgan giving Duane a game boy on a date he believes to be Christmas, Herschel mentioning it'll be spring soon after that. summer months, and them celebrating Halloween later on.

My husband and I have been watching from S1 again because he missed so much the first time around. We just started S3 and the time between S2 & 3 the actor who plays Carl (Chandler Riggs) hit a growth spurt like nobody's business. And again between 3 & 4, though not quite as noticeable. Pretty soon he's going to hit puberty if he hasn't already. He's 15 so maybe he already did. I don't have kids so I have no idea when that happens for boys.

I hope they don't recast. I like Chandler as Carl, though I haven't always liked the character.

And Carol at the end is what made the whole episode worth it.
I'm not worried about it they got people in the 20's playing teenagers all the time. They'll find a way to make him look young enough. Besides him growing up works well with the show and I believe this season it's been 2 years since the outbreak. So it makes since Carl being 13-14ish now 15-16ish to look older.
