Quote:Sometimes I'm not sure why I still watch TWD. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. They screwed the pooch a couple of times, and this coming from a non-comic reader. I just think there are things they could have done way better.

I enjoyed the first season and the first half of the 2nd season and hated the rest of the 2nd season minus the finale.  It made me decide to read the comics, and I was blown away, they were addictive to read, went through 100 issues in a few days.  I think the show would be better if it was 10-12 episodes, because you're stuck with like 4-6 terrible episodes that go nowhere.
Quote:I just don't think he needs to be gay. No reason at all. I think it would ruin the character for a lot of folks, especially the women who like him. Dude just needs to be his redneck motorcycle ridin' self. He needs to grow his balls back though. Not sure where those went.

I LOVE HOC. It's ridiculous how good Kevin Spacey is in that role. And the first episode of the second season?  :woot: For real.
I agree, it adds nothing to the story and seems like a cheap ploy to drum up more fans or controversy. HOC is nuts Smile

Yeah, the comics are too intense I think to an extent to make it on cable TV. Though there are quite a few episodes where things seem to drag along.
Who watched it and what did you think? And did you watch until after the credits?

I thought it was a great way to start the season. A little graphic in the beginning but necessary to show how desperate their situation was.

And Carol has become a bad [BLEEP] for sure.
At first I thought you were making a thread about me... Ninja

Isn't everything about you?
Anyone catch the season five debut? I still have yet to watch. Will get to this afternoon at some point, I think. I have heard good things, so I'm ready to see it. Also want to get around to seeing this weeks The Talking dead too.

Amazing it was the best premiere they've done yet.
Loved the premiere. Don't forget to watch the scene after the credits.

Yeah that was awesome.
*dink!

so...clinical about it.

Probably the best episode they've had since season 2, then again I skipped last season after they didnt resolve the boring governor situation season 3.

Did they kill off the annoying singing chick?  I didn't see her on there, so hopefully they did.

No, she's missing. Has been since mid last season. She was snatched by someone in a car..

They mentioned her on the Talking Dead and apparently they showed her at some point in the trailer for next episode.

FYI, they did resolve the Governor situation in season 4.

Thats the only reason I'm watching it this year.
WOW, that was a great premier to the new season! Curious to find out who the guy was that they showed looking at the sign after the credits were done.

Looked like Morgan

that's the guy form a couple seasons ago that was all barricaded in his room upstairs in the middle of an abandoned town. Rick tried to convince him to come with the group but he was bat crazy at that point.

He's also the guy that saved Rick in the first season, I think it was the first episode. IIRC his name is Morgan something.

Remember it completely now, thank you. Had that house all kind of booby trapped.

Yup that's it, I only remember him because the actor played on another doomsday show I loved called Jericho, show was awesome but short lived.

The WD premier was amazing and thank you for reminding me I need to go back and rewatch Jericho. Smile
