I don't feel like digging back through this thread to see if this is the case, but are there kids involved?
I've been married a long time, and I can honestly say my wife has never stayed out all night with any of her friends. If she had, I would have gotten a call, and a heads-up as to what was happening.
If the communication has been as good as suggested in the past, there shouldn't be a need to dance around the issue. Ask where she was, and who she was with. You'll know if she's truthful or not if you've been together long enough.
