Quote:Serious issues? No.. But have I had issues? Definitely.. And any male who has had them, will tell you the same.. Now I'm not saying the police did their job correctly and in an efficient manner, that's another story.. The issue at had for you and I is that if women can be devious enough to exploit..
So you agree the police didn't do their jobs right? (Not the same as saying Winston did anything wrong).
It works both ways. For the rest of his career Winston is going to have horrible slurs thrown at him by drunk fans in every stadium he plays at. Assuming he did nothing wrong, a thorough police investigation is the best way to clear his name, which is another reason why it would be nice if the police did there jobs right.

Yeah, I definitely agree that the police flubbed this mess.. But even with the big flub, there's too many indicators that the woman had an agenda and wanted to exploit..

This is a dumb situation all around if you ask me.

I don't see an agenda. What agenda would she have? So far, she's had to pay for a lawyer and she's taken a ton of abuse. Why would she do this if she didn't actually believe she got raped?

If she had an agenda why not report him immediately? It would make sense to me if you said she told the cops she was raped but didnt idenitfy him. And then went back to him and told him what she did as sort of a blackmail threat. But I would think we would have heard about that.

Quote:And that's a sure fire conviction to rape, how again?
Its becoming clear you don't actually know what some of these words mean or what the basic legal process is.
A crime is alleged.
The police investigate.
If there is enough evidence, they will arrest and charge someone.
It goes to trial, all the evidence is looked at and the defendant is either convicted or acquitted.
Wanting the police to investigate something is not the same thing as saying its a sure fire rape conviction.

Being a member of The Cleat Chasers club, her agenda was to have sex with athletes. That's what they do.. That's an agenda..

Very good, and I understand that completely.. But maybe you should tell that to some of your other fellow posters..

I thought by "agenda" you meant she had some sort of ulterior motive in reporting a rape. Wanting to have sex with athletes, well if that's an agenda, then a hundred million women have an agenda. Just like you might have an agenda of wanting to have sex with supermodels. But what does that have to do with whether she got raped?
04-17-2014, 10:50 AM
Innocent until proven guilty right? Apparently not..

In my opinion, there is.. But I'm sticking with the facts and not my opinion..

Well when the people who are supposed to prove guilt wait a few months before doing their job...
And I dont know how you can read the story and think FSU is not at fault

Which is why, if Winston is innocent, he got royally screwed by the police.

Again, for the "slow" ^^... I agree that the police flubbed this whole situation.. But that doesn't equal a conviction..

I see a lot of people saying there are questions to answer, because there are and without re-reading I don't think one single person has called Winston a rapist.
Several people including you have called the woman a liar, a skank, a cleat chaser and other personal insults which have nothing to do with the case. Some people have also said without any hint of irony or doubt that she definitely wasn't raped.
But I guess that's ok.

I never called her a skank.. I never called her really any name.. Go comb my posts while I wait.. I called her a Cleat Chaser because she is or was at the time of the incident, a member of a club called "Cleat Chasers".. How can that not register?
