And another thing.. If you raised your daughter right in the first place, the chances of her being a "cleat chaser" is minimal..

Or raising a son that doesn't try to tap anything that moves...

I agree with that also. But in all honesty? What 19-20 year old male ISN'T going to try and tap anything that gets thrown his way?

Good! Big Grin
Let's face facts here.. You take the average 21 year old male, and the average 21 year old female at the local watering hole down the street.. If you had to place a bet on which one was going home for a night of sex, which would you place your money on? The female of course.. Why? Because females usually end up having the "pick of the litter".. No female in a bar setting should have problems finding her a man to be with for the night as most males are going to actively pursue her, that goes for the good looking and the not so good looking, that's a fact..

To me, the major thrust of the article was the clear indication that neither the TPD or FSU felt any sense of urgency in finding the truth, probably because they feared what they may have found. So we'll never know - which was the original intent.

If Winston has to live his life with this cloud hanging over him (and he will) he can "thank" the TPD and FSU. They are all in this together, and I suspect they all felt as if they had something to lose if they investigated the case too vigorously.

Sad on all accounts. And reading some of the posts here is at times disheartening. Some of you act as if you have something to gain or lose.

By September it will have further receded into the past and a new season will be upon us.

Quote:Thats pretty sad.  A girl potentially got raped by the biggest reason you won the title....and you don't care.
Obviously the gross amount of profit out weight the price of someones dignity and self respect.
Quote:Is he a free man? Yup.. That said, the sexual act that took place, if she was being forced to perform that sexual act, Jameis Winston would be missing a vital piece that would consider him a male.

I guess someone who is openly a "Cleat Chaser", is extremely credible and would NEVER try to exploit a star athelete..
What's your point exactly? Someone can be an out and out admitted cleat chasing whore, does that mean they can't be raped?

2. The girl was a well known sorority skank who chased athletes. Why would Jameis need to rape her?

Why would Darren Sharper need to rape women? Why would Mike Tyson?

Both are correct

I am with you on the major crux of the article. It was going to be hard to find anything with the length of time things took after the fact and how things were handled.
Quote:Having daughters has NOTHING to do with it.. Having a daughter who enguages in sexual activity with star athletes for the status alone, is another thing.. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, must be a duck.. She gets no benefit of a doubt simply because she's a woman.. Thats ridiculous..

Cool, I'll just go get my raping shoes on and go and find some skanks in short skirts. They basically deserve it right? If they have ever done it with an athlete, hell I might as well call the neighborhood round for a go.

Having daughters has everything to do with it because if this is your attitude to women, then frankly its vile. Benefit of the doubt has nothing to do with it. She is a human being, she said she was raped, that means the police investigate. They don't ignore it because she isn't the virgin Mary and he is Jameis Winston. I don't care if she is a crack addict with 14 kids. I don't care if she has been with every athlete and frat boy on campus. Rape is 1 step behind murder and to suggest we ignore and dismiss her because rumor has it she isn't a sweet little virgin is frankly disgusting.

Based on the duck comparison then the same can be said for Winston. He now has two women saying similar things. Quack right?
The lengths fans will go and say for their beloved schools and athletes...lol

Well, when nothing in her story adds up..

Works for me. Cops are expensive, the court of public opinion is free, he won a Heisman and she's a [BLEEP].

Case closed.

"Tap" was putting it nicely. Apparently he is some kind of weirdo.
Quote:If that doesn't make your wheel house start turning nothing will.

If it is true then yeah it definitely raises alarm bells.

No doesn't mean that at all, but you don't think that impacts her credibility?
