If this is your first post in this thread, I'll go with no.

Great!

So in brief, my overall feelings about this whole situation (as I stated in the other Winston thread) that TPD did a HORRIBLE job handling the investigation from the start, and that there are no winners/"losers" in this case.

Am I still on the "no" side?

Propaganda at it's best..
Quote:And another thing.. If you raised your daughter right in the first place, the chances of her being a "cleat chaser" is minimal..

Sometimes the daughter who was raised perfectly with no issues, ends up being molested by a close family member, or friend of the family.

No, I think that puts you on the side of anyone who is intelligent enough to separate football from a rape investigation.

Sure, that can happen, but which is more likely to happen? A morally sufficient daughter who gets raped by a family member? Or a morally sufficient daughter who avoids being in a club designed to sleep with athletes?

Your opinion really holds no water.. You already proved yourself of the "blindly convict" sort..

You're either a liar or stupid. Show me where I said that.

Do I need to explain what the word investigate means again.

Post 203 and 199.. Go have a look, detective..

I dont see how "ive met him and he is a nice guy" means he is incapable of committing such a crime.

Otherwise the article makes good points. The focus of the NYT article is the mishandling of the situation by TPD and FSU. It shouldnt take a full year and a Tampa reporter to request info for everybody to start looking into it.

I think in any other case FSU and TPD would not wait a year. The fact that Jameis was their top recruit played a factor. That is jmo, and many others im sure. No matter how much FSU says they did it all by the book, the facts dont match that.

I don't agree with you much, but I agree here.. The police totally mishandled this case and flubbed it from day one..

Why have you now asked that twice.

No one outside of serious recruitniks knew who he was. You can believe that or not. He was fourth on the depth chart at the time.

Maybe you should read FSU's response to the NYT article since you just think they sat on their hands.

Is English not your first language?

Please explain how either of those mean I think Winston is a rapist or should be convicted of anything?

Quote:I see a lot of people saying there are questions to answer, because there are and without re-reading I don't think one single person has called Winston a rapist.

Several people including you have called the woman a liar, a skank, a cleat chaser and other personal insults which have nothing to do with the case. Some people have also said without any hint of irony or doubt that she definitely wasn't raped.

But I guess that's ok.

Oh that's ok, you didn't use the word skank. Well done have a cookie. Is she still a liar?

I'll type this slowly, because I really think you struggle with comprehension.

A claim of rape needs to be properly investigated because its a serious violent offense, in this case it wasn't and because of that, there is no chance of justice whether that justice is Jameis Winston in prison or clearing his name.

The fact that you feel that I am suggesting Winston is guilty of anything and would get so defensive as to lose the ability to read speaks volumes about you, your attitude to women, your attitude towards sexual violence and your own experiences and issues.

The fact that you're trying to belittle me as opposed to my "English" is almost a dead give away of your need to deny what you stated.. Did I say you blindly convicted Winston? No.. But did you blindly convict me without reason and evidence? Yup.. So therefore, that must be your MO and what you're used to..

Typing slowly isn't going to help me with your biased reasoning.. You can type as slow as you like, one finger at a time even, which I bet you do regardless on who you're posting to..

He was the #1 QB in the nation. People knew who he was, certainly FSU, who is partially to blame for their lack of effort to get to the bottom of it.

I read the FSU statement. I addressed it in my last post.

Even me, as a non fsu fan, knew he would probably start based on who he was as a recruit. FSU admin knew he brought hope for the team. They probably feared to dig deeper because of what they might find.

^^^ This is the reason why education should be held to a higher regard in this country.. This is why we're losing the education war...

I dont know TBH. My thing is if a sexual predator want's to sexually assuault a woman he/she is going to commit that crime against a hoe, trick, well behaved, properly raised, self-respecting woman.

I just wanted to let people know that some FSU alumni/fans have different perspectives.
