And would you like my honest, hand to God, honest opinion on something? My truly honest opinion is that If this incident happened on another campus or major university, it would be a non issue for 3/4ths of the posters in this thread. That's my honest to God opinion.. I've been around on these message boards since 2004 (changed screen names), and I've seen the bias that can go on in according to school allegiance. For both UF and FSU..
Another reason why I say some on here have an agenda? JFC posted a link a couple days ago on here regarding a couple more rape cases on other major college campuses, with like one response.. It's like the majority of them just don't care because it didn't happen on FSU grounds..
So call me irrational all you like.. Maybe I just see things from another perspective and with the lack of evidence, refuse to call Winston guilty.. Which he's not.. A fact in which also is probably just eating away at 1/2 the posters in this thread..

I dont think you are getting it. The investigation was possibly swept under the rug for football reasons. That has nothing to do with other rape cases unless they involve high profile athletes.

To the point of your next post, if this were on a campus of another college, you wouldnt have much of a care either.
I dont think you have looked at both sides of the story without taking out your FSU prejudice, and I'd imagine most fans of a college fan would do the same thing.
Most people in this thread (non fsu fans) have said they aren't sure whethere he did it or not. A large majority of the people that are convinced he didnt do a thing are FSU fans.

LOL, you can find a lot less people on this thread claiming he is 100% guilty than people who are unsure whether he is guilty or not and say its an investigation issue.
If this happened at UF, you would be saying the same thing as most here.

If you reread through my posts, you'll see that I never said that nothing happened. But what you will find is that I said there's a lack of evidence and he's presumed innocent.. Might wanna read my posts before putting words in my mouth

Lol, and for the 4 billionth time someone will tell you that is due to a terrible job investigating the case.
I'm not going to go as far as badger and say its a football player (although someone here will say the TPD doesn't do the football team any favors....) but something cause the police work here to be terrible.
If it was a one off case, I'd say he probably didnt do it, but now we have two women. I'm not saying he didnt....but trouble is brewing. I hope the guy is clean cut the rest of his career and makes millions of dollars though.
