Quote:Really? You have posted your own situation numerous times. Elaborating a bit more in each consecutive one.

Yup, that was the only thing I posted numerous times.. Tells me how much of the posts you actually read..
Quote:Yup.. It landed me in hot water with the law.. I'm guilty even though I'm innocent. Better juice up the electric chair, grab your pitchfork and light the torch since you and a few others are experienced in that field..

I don't have a problem with your stance, I have a problem with your "shoot first and ask question later" approach to things. Half of you guys completely fail to acknowledge the fact that the man is presumed innocent simply because it doesn't fit into your agenda of "guilty until proven innocent". What else is there to say that hasn't already been said? Please, tell us.. What grounds haven't we discussed here about this case that's considered, "groundbreaking" material? Nothing.. We've been through it all.. The man is presumed Innocent.. Get over it.. What you think and what the facts are, are two different things.. I'm not going to convict the man simply because Barney Fife worked the case the night of the incident. That's a TPD problem, not Winston's..

Whether he did it or not, he's presumed innocent, whether you like that or not..

And how many times are we going to hear, "well what if you had a daughter?".. Well guess what? What if you had a son and some woman tries to ruin his career with slanderous inaccuracies and lies? As many things in this case, it can go both ways. But since the incident involved a woman, she automatically gets a free pass because there's no such thing as a devious, vindictive woman.. Sorry, but I don't live in Make Believe Land..
As it stands with the law, he is innocent. No argument there. It has been well documented that the police fouled this up something awful. That leaves a mark on the whole thing. It does both Winston and the female a disservice here. No one has argued that. The only thing people have said is that it leaves the door wide open to what may have happened, or may not have happened due to the shoddy work of the TPD

All of it, good Lord.
Quote:Lol if this is an example of you letting things go, no wonder you're in legal trouble. (I can't be bothered to be nice to you any more, you clearly have social issues and it really doesn't surprise me that has landed you in hot water with the law).

Tell me again exactly what you have a problem with about my stance that the TPD f'ed up a rape investigation meaning we will probably never know the truth. Coincidentally thats exactly the same as what just about every other poster including yourself has said.
Amen

Let me guess, it just takes you extra time.. Like I had to tell you to "keep reading" the other day..

Yes exactly. Whatever gets you through this.

You asked me to post what agenda you may have. I did. What more do you want? You can't be serious.

I have an agenda? Really? What's my agenda, please tell me..

start what? You asked me a quesiton. I answered with the exact thing, yet you're still ranting. I guess the only answer for you is not to ask questions you don't want the answers to.
I'm still waiting to hear what my agenda really is..

IMO Gibson should have received the death penalty, despite the woman surviving.

IMO, it's not bad publicity aimed at FSU. There are plenty former student athletes who have robbed, raped, and murdered people who was playing or has played for their respective school.

Whatever happens with this case, if new evidence comes to light and charges are brought, it doesn't change my affiliation or my love for the University I graduated from. Florida State University is a wonderful Institution, that is directly responsible for where I am at as an individual today. This incident will not sway my feelings, and I'm sure a lot of the alumni feel the same way.

ANd I agree wtih you, it shouldn't change the way you feel. The bad egg is not a reflection on you or the school. To many like to associate the two with each other. If that were the case many more "bad eggs" would be produced

And it shouldn't!! You feel the way you do about your school for the memories that you made while attending...not for the people that put on a uniform every weekend! If the team never won another football game again it wouldn't change any of those experiences for you!!

Nobody wants to get in a back and forth with you.....because you've become irrational.

Let me ask this, are you a Florida State football fan?

Ah ok. So because I "disagree" with the message board prosecutors, I'm irrational..Gotcha..

And yes I am.. Your point?
