Quote:She is coming over for Christmas. We need some humor around the table.

That thread probably needs a bump btw.
Quote:There is finally a sense of relief for us Jags fans.

This is a new beginning.

Now we need to find a competent and accurate QB and we can become relevant again.
No need to see any more Bortles this year.  It's time for Captain Checkdown.
Quote:I know he has millions and I am sympathetic towards his situation, but I also have kids, and know how hard it would be to just up and leave school after you made friends.

He's a professional coach, moving comes with the territory and Gus knows that and I'm sure his family does too. They moved here didn't they? They have moved in the past too. It's no different then other professions where people have to move a lot. That's just the way it is.

Best day in Jacksonville history
Can't believe the knee jerk reaction of Khan. Things were getting better.

He does not have to move anywhere. Retire and fish if he wants. He won the lottery for Christmas basically.
@mike_kaye Another #jags player called Bradley a good guy & a friend but said he was too much of a player's coach. "Wasn't strong enough" w/ players.
Have they named a interm coach?

Quote:I agree. This could have definitely been handled better.
There is a handful of you that would literally complain about anything!  Holy cow.

Just three more years and we might've hit .375

What a waste.

An anonymous coward I am guessing?
Quote:Talent is here and coaching isnt. Coaching allowed Blake who looked like a future franchise QB last year to revert his mechanics to his college days which was his knock coming out.

I was down to see Dave go but theres a lot of talent on this team. If he can get a cosch that can fix Blake we're right in thick of things with TEN as the team that will run this division for a long time.

blake isn't going to fix squat.
So did Bradley fly back with the team or on a separate jet?

He flew back on team charter.
Quote:Kind of feel for the guy having to get on team charter with no job. Seems like this could have waited until they got home.

The timing is good. He can say his goodbyes and make peace with all the players that played for him in a neutral forum (outside of the stadium) It needed to be done,Old Yeller time indeed.

Sounds like Malik, Telvin or Jalen
Quote:There's a lot of blame to go around.  Gus earned his share.  Blake's share is just as big if not getting bigger.

And Caldwell deserves his share for them both.

Tomorrow.
I can't believe there are actually people in here complaining about firing Bradley after today's loss, his 12th of the season.

What does it matter if it is after today's loss or in 2 weeks? It was going to happen regardless. Would the next 2 weeks really make any difference?

Gus will be fine, stop complaining, you complainers sound like Jdub.

Quote:From the get-go Gus Bradley just never found his place here in the south. It's very petty but he couldn't even pronounce our team name correctly.

We won't be hearing him say Jage-wires anymore.

Reminds me of a movie.  From now on you'll be The Wonders.
