Congrats on the win. And the qb. Looks like you guys may have finally got lucky. Minshew the hot qb, especially with all the nfl darlings getting hurt.
Minshew needs to start getting calls for defenders hitting his legs. He was hit 3 or more times low and didn't get a call.

I was absolutely livid at the NON CALLS against Denver's defense... Minshew got hit low many times... We're lucky he is doing fine and has some grit because that limp at the end worried me.
Had me reaaaally worried .....anyone heard how he's doing?
Doug and Tom need to file a complaint with the league
Some posters were calling Minshew elite after just two games, one start. I was impressed with him after the Houston game for not losing the game for us in Bortles type fashion and after the Tennessee game was very impressed. Still though, I didn't want to get my hopes up to high thinking this kid would soon come down to reality. After the long week I was very much forward to watching him again and he did not disappoint. I'm not sure he will ever be the QB who puts up ridiculous numbers but man, the guy just just has the ability to make the plays when he needs to.

It's exciting to think that we may have finally found our guy. Best part is that we don't have to spend yet another top five pick. Let's just hope this hasn't been a fluke and Gardner Minshew continues to play well week after week.

I was ready to jump through the TV and into Denver.
What can you say but wow.

Rookie of the week again probably.

Good chance it goes to AJ Brown.
Yah, though Brown played a geriatric descending team, who also lost last week to a poor Indy squad, and never had to come from way behind, he was spectacular indeed.

Meanwhile, I am so shady...; )
For years I've been thinking, eventually we are going to hit the lottery late in the draft. It happens to other teams. It's nothing but pure luck. Why not us?

And here we are.

No way.

He made bigger plays this week than last week and he won the title.

If Jones couldn't take the title last week, no one is taking it this week.

The votes are already in his favor.

Everyone knows and loves the Stache now. lol

I agree but I do think the Roughing the Passer call on the very next play was a make up call for them not calling the hit to the knee.

I agree and even stated so in the game thread. They knew how bad they had screwed up when Minshew came up limping and no flag was thrown.

I hate make up calls, though. It cheapens everything. I know officials have a lot to watch but those hits were pretty evident.
We never get a chance to see it, but I wonder if Marrone spends anytime chipping at the refs for bad calls. Jeff Fisher was a master at it.
One thing is he has a great deep ball, hes not scared to give his his WR a chance if he is down field one on one, and the reports of him having a weak arm was a myth. Dude can put some zip on the ball when need be and fit the ball in tight windows
