Garrard also was the last jags qb to play behind a top ten offensive line. The jags offensive since garrard has been horrible for the most part.
I would just load up on linemen with the extra picks we’re getting. Helps the running game keeps the QB happy... it’s really a no brainer

Right?

If we don't destroy the Bengals and the Jets, there's going to be some serious questions about this team going forward.

They (our dog [BLEEP] Jags) just dumped their best player, while playing the easiest two game stretch ever. Two god awful teams that we have no business losing to.

If this team loses either of these next two games, Khan better fire everybody on the spot.
Who does Minshew remind you of? I’d say Romo

What are you smoking?  We're 2-4 for gosh sakes. How can you say we have no business losing to the Bengals or Jets?  We could easily lose those games.

And what would be the point of firing everyone mid-season?  What would that accomplish?  All that would do is scare off some of the people we might want to hire after the season is over.  No one wants to work for an owner who would fire everyone because he's mad.

And our last two losses were against teams on a 4 game win streak...

Bengals and Jets are god awful.
Every single loss except the Chiefs has been by 1 score. We could easily be 5-1.

Jets aren't a bad team when Darnold  is playing.

And the Bengals have lost 4 games by one score.  So I guess they could easily be 4-2?

And how do you consider the games where the Jets were without their starting QB?  What would their record be with their starting QB, who is now back, and who just led them to a victory over the Cowboys?

Every team's fans do the same thing.  They'd all be in the playoffs, if only for this or that injury, or a few close games.

Right?  Laughing

Look, if this is Minshew's BAD type of game, I'll take it over the Bortles 4 INT meltdowns any day.

Amen!

I'm sure there will be "Big Uglies" in the draft ....some of the heavyweights" in Georgia's line come to mind.....as well as
some in FA. We have got to get MSII a line!

No excuse if they lose to the Bengals. They really are a bad football team from top down this year. The Jets snuck up on the Cowboys with Darnold's return. Thankfully we'll get that game tape and this week's game tape prior to seeing them at home. I do have concerns with Adam Gase coaching up against Todd Wash though.

For whatever reason this defense struggles against better offensive minded coaches. Norv Turner schooled him, Sean Payton schooled him at the right times without Brees and an injured Kamara and he's been saying something in the news that I am tired of hearing. "We got cute" on defense. Okay, so if "being cute" isn't working on defense...... stooooop [BLEEP] doing it!

I expect them to outscore the Bengals by at least 10 - 13 points. The Jets could be a close game depending on which defense shows up and whether or not the offensive line feels like blocking and not [BLEEP] up any momentum with mistakes. We'll see. Next two games are big for the future of this franchise.

If they fall 2 - 6? Yuck.

100% Romo. Their journey into the league is even similar, just like their play style. I was a big Romo fan and have been looking for a player to pull for since his retirement. Gardner is my guy.
Hopefully Minshew’s injuries have healed sufficiently to play better than last week. Boselli claimed it affected his mobility and throwing motion. I hope that was the issue and not a terminal case of Gabbertitis.

I think Boselli may be right about this.

The ball came out with noticeably less velocity and he was definitely slower moving around the pocket or trying to escape pressure. Makes sense that the groin injury played into both of those. (especially coupled with the banged up and braced knee)
He really does have a strong hip turn in his throwing motion and that had to be affected adversely.

The line needs to start taking it personally when the opposing team gets to Gardner.

Can't let that happen to your QB.

He needs to start giving them the ‘Bortles Bonk’.

I pulled my groin once.

I can't imagine trying to play a football game with it.
