Lol, I have Lambo, Chark, Westbrook and the Jags D. Chark got me 32pts this week and a win. My problem is Rodgers or Minshew. The old pro or the young protege? Smile

Really good. Love learning the guitar and Minshews fantasy team!
Can't even get a meal or go shopping without getting noticed.... welcome to stardom, Gardner.

Thanks for sharing that article. Really good insight there and makes me all the more thankful he is on our team. If more players across the league were more like him, especially had his football sense, the game would so much more fun to watch.
Love that his fantasy team is called "Trust the Process"

Is there a better example of Trust The Process than Gardner Minshew?
I picked up Minshew in FA and been starter ever since. Outaying Cousins, Big Ben. Top 10 in FP.

I also have Lambo, Chark, Allen and Jag defense.

Currently 2nd ?

When was that said?

This week in his power rankings.  (Which are wonky, cause the Panthers are way too low)

Another good article.  Here's the part that ought to get any Jag fan really excited:

"But if Minshew keeps playing like he has during the first five weeks, it would be better for the Jaguars to take the bolder route and look to start building around their breakout rookie. Sure, that’d leave them on the hook to pay for the most expensive backup quarterback in, well, probably ever. But that’s a short-term problem with long-term benefits. Having a good starting quarterback fall into your lap in the middle or late rounds can be a franchise-altering event—just ask the Seahawks or Cowboys.

"Jacksonville can trade Foles to a quarterback-needy team during the offseason, eat the dead money, then reap the benefits of having Minshew on an incredibly cheap rookie deal through the 2022 season. That would swing the team’s championship window wide open once again and give the Jags the much-needed cap flexibility to sink major resources into surrounding their quarterback with the pieces of a Super Bowl squad. "

That is why, even though we're only 2-3, and might not make the playoffs, I haven't been this excited about the Jags in maybe 15 years.

He reminds me of Favre with his attitude so much. And I love it. After the Houston game, seeing his buddy and saying 'cant wait for the wedding', its not too big and doesn't lose himself.

You see so many players buy into the hype and the 'image', just look at Mayfield. Minshew is everything they want Mayfield to be!

And I just think he is perfect for the Jags. He is the type of guy 95% of Jacksonville wants to go for a beer with anyway. That love it or leave it attitude. This is us. I'm trying to stay grounded but this kid blows me away time and again.

Both articles are great. All the hype aside....He IS  "just a guy" ....who is a hell of a quarterback.

We should take that bold step.... .....but please pay him when the time is right.

I agree.  Assuming he is who we are starting to think he is, then they need to do the right thing at the first opportunity, which I believe by league rules would not be until after his 3rd season.

Fournette, Chark, Lambo all starters. Minshew and Conley(for the Foles connection....) on the bench lol
Someone nabbed Minshew in my FL.... won't trade him for nothing.
Started out offering Brieda... then tried offering Will Fuller (who I just picked up and dropped big points.)
Still nothing.

Asked him to counter and getting nothing.... I'm tempted to offer Nuke.

I've been riding Wentz all season and I'm over it.
I need Minshew magic for my fantasy team.
Minshew doesn't even have himself in his fantasy team. He has Kyler Murray. Lol
This team has a bad habit of pulling the trigger and offering tons of money to QBs.. Garrard, Bortles...

I have him as my starter in one league. The other 2 I have Wilson so it's tough to bench that, even for Minshew Magic

Minor groin soreness eh?

I Am on the Minshew Hype Train but I've also tempered my expectations. Some is already lobbying that GM15 gets properly paid when the time is right. He's FIVE games in Jaguar Fans. I Do see QB production that we've not seen in years and I SERIOUSLY welcome such production. Between continued success from GM15 and the reality of NF7's return, where will we be within the next five weeks?

Time Will Tell.

We'll be 6 - 4 and still competing for a play-off spot.
