This is getting awkward. Uncomfortable, even.

A dark, sinister sound track comes to mind.

Like the ringtone I have set for my wife..
He needs to work on ball security. But that is something that is very fixable.
26/44 - 374 yards 2 TDs. Not bad in the loss.
Chark is looking better than allen robinson.

Agree.
If this is his “rookie meltdown” game I’ll take it. He still had us within 7 points of victory.
Bad day turnover wise for minshew, but he wouldn't give up,and kept fighting. He is no doubt a NFL qb,and future of the jags franchise.
he had 3 turnovers today 2 which cost jags 14 points to the panthers, yet minshew fought back to try,and steal the game. past jags qbs cracked under turnover presure.
Again you don't win games turning the ball over.

I trust Minshew more than the defense.

Most definitely.
Alvin Kamara is going to eat this Defense up next week if they don't figure this [BLEEP] out real quick.
The Defense still thinks it's 2017, they need to wake up and realize they haven't looked the same since about this time last year. We need a new Nose Tackle or someone that can just clog the run. Their egos are inflated and their production on the field doesn't match their pride.

Pretty much.
They just seem to think about rushing the passer, overpursuing, some players pressing and all that. Without a lead, those flaws are easily exposed and unfortunately we almost never played with a lead this season (which would be huge for our offense as well).
To make it worse at the start of the game opposing OC have figured out how to play us, in 2017 we almost never allowed 1st drives (or even 1st quarter) TDs, now they just motion someone, make our Dline go horizontally and get easy points to start the game.
He played a good defense. He made a few mistakes. But he also nabbed almost 400 yards and 2 TDs against this defense. That's another ROTW nomination. And he kept us alive and fighting.
374 yards, the kid is a gun slinger for sure.

59.1% completion percentage
101.9 QBR
Not a bad day.
