Great listen.  Thanks for sharing!
So it's pronounced....

Important to get it right.

GBFTM2 for short.

That is fantastic for him. He is riding that high like a true guy with the IT factor.

I love this bit

And inside the building, too. Five members of the team's equipment staff are sporting Minshew mustaches.
Minshew hasn't been impressed, though. "Too many," he said. "There's a lot of bad mustaches out there now."
I’ve been thinking of comps for Minshew (because that’s what everyone does when a shiny toy comes out) and one that comes to mind us Tony Romo.

Romo didn’t have the best arm and was actually really nimble in the pocket. The clip is Minshew dodging the defenders on the Armstead TD reminded me of him.

Carry on lol

That's actually not a bad comparison although my perception is that Minshew has a little better wheels.

My thoughts exactly. As soon as he made that play Romo came to mind.

"Minshew has legs. Not wheels. Cars and bikes have wheels"- JDub

I don't know if Minshew has wheels but him and Tony both seem to have the same feel for the pocket. I'm excited to see if Minshew can continue playing like this.

If the O line doesn’t allow him to get killed. In one game we allowed a team with the worst sack record in the league -zero- to get to him 5 times.
I really enjoyed the Eisen interview thanks for positing everyone. I like the reports that he is just focusing on the next game. That is a very mature way to handle your business. I guess as a 6th round pick and a guy they weren't going to keep on the active roster, you just make sure you stay in the moment. Where ever this goes, it is so good to have a feel good story and good football at the same time.

I mean, that's so misleading of a stat though. They still had Chubb and Miller off the edges. It's not like they had a BAD pass rush.

I could also say that is a misleading argument. Denver’s 3 previous opponents stopped the rush. And is this also to say that any opponent we face which doesn’t have a bad pass rush is expected to sack our QB 5 times? We have to do better.

That team also has some really good pass rushers, oddly enough.

The thing about this is that Minshew is good about getting the ball out quick when his first or second read is open, but he's stubborn about making a play happen when they are covered and that sometimes means he's got to elude pressure.

We've seen this result in some hard hits and some big time plays. Double edged sword. If they want to preserve him more, they may have to limit these improvisations though it's a very strong suit in his game.

...and would have been 7-8 if not for "The Minshew Magic"
