If Chaisson has a good day, that means the OL is terrible.

If he has a bad day that means he's a complete bust.

Both are dumb ways to look at it, but that's definitely how some on here are spinning it.

And this isn't directed right at Marty, I'm just talking in general.

I have no idea how Chaisson is gonna look. I read articles singing his praises for what he's done in camp and others which say he's been dominated. I'm gonna reserve my judgement until I see him in actual competition against opposing teams. Hopefully, that is when he will shine. Fingers crossed.

So Chaisson first rounder who underperforms in year 1, wait and see. Fingers crossed.
Henderson who was injured and played 8 games in year 1, run him out of town.
Got it.
If you are an established team, then I think you might not play your starters in game 1 of preseason as much, but for the jags, its year 1 so they need the reps.

I think Cisco is going to be a prime player in Cullen's DB blitz portion of the playbook.

Chaisson, who is visibly working to improve himself in year 2, wait and see.
Henderson, who visibly shows he doesn't want to be here and misses practices, should be given his wish.

Kane being smart as always  Laughing
There's going to be actual protection for the QB. Weird.

They could have at least given him something to stand on.

Once again you prove you don't know what you're talking about it.
You can keep saying he doesn't want to be here without proof but you're the one that looks like an idiot.
I'm loving all this confidence and good news about our OL. It's about dang time, especially with a rookie QB that could be a generational talent. We need him to stay upright.

Lol. O noes!
Safety Josh Jones on the Jaguars' defense under defensive coordinator Joe Cullen: "It's crazy. You've got things flying from everywhere. It's not just, 'You line up in one defense and you're playing it.' You've got coverages here, blitz here and doing this, this and that. It's a mix of a lot things and it's pretty cool. It's definitely different than the one last year. This defense is for guys to fly around. We're going to lead the league in effort."

Was he going against Cam Robinson  or Taylor?  If so thats not as impressive.
I think I've seen enough. It's time for some games.

Our draft looks great. Some of our free agents look real good. Some of our returning young players seem to be making strides. Trevor looks really good. What else do we need to know? Now we just need to see if all the aforementioned is going to cause us to win some games.

I'm trying not to be too negative. I was not a fan of the Chaisson selection either, but since we have Trevor, I'm choosing to take a more cautiously optimistic approach. Chaisson has no controversy swirling around him. With him, it's all about what he can do with his skill set, so I'm hoping he turns things around this season, but I'm not sold on him either.

Let’s just hope “We’re going to lead the league in effort.” doesn’t translate into a bunch of guys expending loads of energy while accomplishing very little.
