This time is different because, you know, it's different.

It's different because Urban Meyer... THE Urban Meyer... was instructing DJ Chark on his WR skillset....
I believe our match-up with the Browns will be a solid foundation on how this team compares to last year's team.

Not only is this just a dumb and ignorant take, but you literally once called Trent Richardson a Darren Sproles type back.  I don't think you have any business questioning other people's takes, especially someone as good as Shipley.
Even Gabbert looked like a pro bowler in no contact practice. I'll wait to go goooo and gaga over the #1 overall pick after the first regular season game.

Gabberts fatal flaw was lack of calm under pocket pressure. TLaw climbs the pocket like Brady.

Agreed.  I don' think it's necessary to dangle the carrot to motivate Trevor.  Watching him AFTER practice today, he stuck around to get extra reps and to work with the coaches.  He's going to be something special once they unleash him.

He did.  The difference is Gabbert wasn't nearly as mature as Lawrence is entering the league, and he really didn't face the same level of competition in college that Trevor has.  You get the very real sense that pressure is not going to rattle him very often like it did with Gabbert.  He's been living under pressure since the 9th grade.

No doubt. The great ones have not only physical talent and the mental acumen but are also gym rats. Trevor has the trifecta.
NFL network says they are going to have jags practice live coming on soon here

I wouldn’t categorize Tom Brady as a gym rat, but two out of three ain’t bad.

Really? My perception of Brady (especially in the early part of his career) was of someone with the +2 mentality. But it's not like I was paying that close of attention.
Jags coming up on the NFL channel.

Wait…. I thought Trevor didn’t care about being great? Lol

Man I can’t wait to see them play in pads.

Physicality was never part of Brady’s makeup or game execution. Look up his combine picture.

Brady’s secret to his success and longevity is smarts and technique. He executes quickly and precisely. Plus the fact Belichick always kept a wall in front of him.
Plus hes a vegan!!! Give it up for the vegans
It sounded like some nice throws and catches were made today.

Here is one from Shenault from Trevor:

And a couple of throws from Gardner:

It sounded like Gardner had a pretty good day today.  (Completed all passes in 7-on 7 and reportedly did well in the two minute drill, 5-5 with two TDs).

I'm also reading some positive reviews about Treadwell and how he's been looking in camp, which is nice to see.

Also, Josh Lambo struggled a bit with his kicks, but I don't think that will be a common thing. I think he will still end up being pretty much automatic with his kicks.
