Classic jj. Deflect deflect deflect.

I noticed you never really discussed the king of debt's monetary policy to get us out of our debts.

Care to chime in now?
monetary policy is technically controlled by the fed and not the president directly.  In any case, the national debt is the sum total of the fiscal deficits that have been run over the course of the governments existence.  As for Trumps FISCAL POLICY he's expressed the desire to implement a series efficiencies to save tax payer money while not sacrificing on the services rendered.  In other words, stop paying $2000 for a $12 battery tray in government vehiccles (actually happened in san Fan sisco)

Telling the treasury print money to pay our debts kinda is monetary policy, jj.... just fyi on that one.

It's not monetary policy, it's personal suicide.  JFK told the Treasury to do exactly that and was killed a week later.

The Federal Reserve issues debt, not money.  Big difference.

In a lot of ways, I agree with this...
Trump reffered to the fact that in reality we will never default because the fed is a backstop. That's an expression of current reality not an affirmative fiscal or monetary policy.
We never default because we own the printing press.  But there's absolutely no reason the United States has to "borrow" it's currency from a private corporation.  It only makes sense when you understand the private corporation is running the country.

I guess state government is good? But national government is bad?

I'm trying to figure out a reasonable answer as to why.

Did some research, apparently I'm more a Hamilton type of guy than a Jefferson guy...

Jefferson had no problem flexing federal executive muscle when it suited him.  Many historians love to paint him as a fan of a weak federal government, but his actions in office stated otherwise.

You can pick a better example of political heroism than that! Disagree with TJ and The Party you get thrown in jail.

And come on, the Trilateral Commission runs this country - any fool knows that.
Simple question - who are the officers and shareholders of the US Federal Reserve Corporation?

Answer that and you have found your masters.

Indeed.

Louisiana Purchase, Embargo Acts, Non-Intercourse Act (tee hee) to name a few. Heck, Jefferson was all against a loose interpretation of the Constitution until he became president.

Besides, quoting these guys from 200 years ago is never a particularly good argument. Especially since we tend to remember the good and exciting stuff and barely ever scratch the surface of the less than stellar political decisions that left a mess (just ask Martin Van Buren or the Van B Boys near Lorenzo's Pizza Shop)
All they did was help found the greatest nation in the history of the world.

Dude, lighten up! Talking about the negatives, in addition the positives, of our founding fathers doesn't make America a less great place. It just makes us better educated to our own history.
