Dude you need to get out more. Spend some time with your fiancé instead of getting yourself all rilled up in a bunch. You have your opinion about him on the message boards and he has an opinion about you. He's entitled to it just like you so let him have his as well.

I can see why the organization pays Marcedes so much. Not to catch the ball, but to defend the poor performances these last 3 weeks.

wow, im not sure if the media vibe spins it as negative or it has shock factor that people just don't like or something, but i sense that the majority of people are overwhelmingly on the side of shut up Marcedes!

 

My opinion...

 

   i dont mind his comments, stay positive, stay working hard, and results come...pretty sound approach to just about anything in life not just football.  The fans that are mad i understand you pay a lot of money to see a jaguar game.  me too, it (will) cost me a flight from UT, hotel, food, drinks, memorabilia, and a lot of money in other ways just for me to come to a game (i haven't seen one in person yet btw, finally next DEC for Christmas week ill be there!) and id be kinda sad to see the team get blown out (again) or beat them selves for a loss (again), especially missing 3 kicks in one game we should have won....man that hurt...but i would have left with the experience of going to the game, having fun, finally getting rowdy with DUVAL!  the people that want to jump off the band wagon, let em jump!  Id be proud to tailgate with any jaguar fan that wants to on Sunday!

I have no problem with Marcedes defending his HC and what Gus preaches, but him saying fans aren't being supportive or that we need to change our attitude towards them is just sad. You know an organization is bad when you have players calling fans kindergartners and calling fans out. Jaguars fans are passionate, they show up Sundays to watch the same trash on the field week in and week out year after year. If the fans are complaining its because they are tired of this team being the laughing stock of the league over and over again.

News flash Marcedes.  Any fan that still cares about the Jaguars has been through NFL fan Hell the last 5 years.  We've been there watching the garbage YOU and the rest of the team has put on the field.  We're not going anywhere.  We still care about winning unlike you and your loser mentality.  Last I checked, the only ones actually not making any money from the Jaguars are the fans....

 

The winning isn't what we're trying to do mentality needs to be eradicated from the locker room.  It's a cancer that will continue to keep the franchise down.  If this is what a leader in the locker room says, he needs to be gone immediately.  I think we can live without the "production" we get from him.

Anger and Frustration is better than Apathy.  Seems like Apathy has taken over the locker room unfortunately.  I know it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but it'd be nice to see some players or coaches get angry or show some emotion.  At least show that you care.

What makes you say this? The W/L record? Because the paid athletes are not jumping up and down and acting like the majority of the kindergartners here? That does not make any sense. i mean these guys are young but not little children who throw tantrums young. Not to mention you have zero knowledge of what is said or how they act in private.

It appears they pretty much stay angry anyway. If I recall I was pretty happy as a child. These kids are all bound up. Just not right to be so mad when they are still prepubescent. I expect once real life worries start to hit them the Jags woes won't hurt so much.

Did you read Marcedes' comments?  If that's not apathy, I don't know what is.  It's not always about winning and losing...it's about the process.   Come on.  Haven't heard one player or coach talk about losing being unacceptable.  Until it's made perfectly clear that winning is the only goal, then yes...apathy is exactly what I call it.  They don't care if they win or lose as long as they are following the process.

What's with criticizing posting time, makes no sense. 

 

I was up at 1 AM with a crying child, and at work at 650.  At either time there's a good chance i could've entered the Jungle.  Does that mean i don't have a life?  Far from it...
