Quote:Panthers defense is the story of the game, generating three turnovers and setting up the Carolina offense with great field position.

Panthers win 24-10

That was last season's horrible offense, but this year's OL coached up by Marrone and OC Olson's game plan is different. The Panthers Star DT (no really his name is Star) Lotulelei is listed as doubtful (foot injury), RCB Charles Tillman (concussion) might not play against Allen Robinson if he fails his last test but he is expected to play. Not to mention starting LCB Josh Norman is also recovering from a head injury but is expected to play. The biggest concern for the Jaguars Offense is to MLB Luke Kuechly and his Pass Rush abilities along with DE Kony Ealy.

In regards to the Panthers Offense if the Jaguars can force Cam Newton to win with his arm it will improve their chances, but the Jaguars DBs will have to prove their worth in this game.

---------------------------

From the source of Rotoworld;

Tolbert is a 5-foot-9, 250-pound fullback-running back that goes by nicknames "Fat Boy" and "Tub of Goo." The Panthers are so desperate for playmakers on offense that Tolbert is expected to see snaps at receiver, H-back, and running back. He has a soft pair of mitts with 175 career catches and will likely be tasked for some pass-down work behind early-down bruiser Jonathan Stewart.

3 more days of not being a fan of a losing team!

:thanks:

I predict Jaguars to defeat Panthers, so I will go ahead and say seventeen days of winning!

I'm wondering if we can confirm the injury status for their two CBs. A Panthers fan told me a few days ago that Tillman had already passed the concussion protocol and is good to go. Norman, however, is still in their concussion program and needs to pass the final test. I haven't read anything official though.

Looking at the official injury report from the Panthers website, Norman was listed as having limited participation in practice while Tillman is not even listed.

BTW, while I was at the Pathers site to check out their injury report, I noticed that Kyle Love is starting in Star's spot. Y'all should remember Love who was brought in a couple years ago to play DT. He was quickly released. Dude's a total scrub.

Tillman has been cleared and is practicing. Norman hasn't been cleared and has been limited in practice. Thoughts/feelings from the team is that Norman will be a go. I'm guessing we will see him at full practice today - if not then i will be worried.

Playing Norman in the preseason game was one of the dumbest things I've ever heard and of course he gets hurt. Norman is our best CB (and he's really good), without him our secondary is very thin.

Benwikere isn't a guy you guys probably haven't heard of. He's a second year player. He's played more of the nickel but has shown he can be an every down back. Normally we would line Norman up again a team's best WR (he shut down Julio twice and Mike Evans) and Tillman and Benwikere would most likely alternate the other CB positions.

Not having Norman would be in line with losing KB. The word from the national media is that our secondary is weak. This is the best secondary we have had in quite some time. Without Norman though.....yikes.

Edit: just saw that Norman was in full pads yesterday. Guessing that means he was cleared but I haven't heard that "officially" anywhere.
"@PFF: Bene Benwikere took over as a starter in Week 14. Over the next 4 games no CB had a higher grade in coverage. "
I googled who would win a fight between a Panther and Jaguar, and the answer is....

"Panther vs. jaguar - jaguar wins. They are the third largest cats after tigers and lions, weighing up to 350lb - they are considerably more muscular and strong than panthers, which weigh only up to 200lb. "

Welp, that settles it folks. Go ahead and scratch up that win, bring on the fins. Banana

Cats are funny animals, awesome too, I think we can all agree on that.

Would be cool to have a Big cat as a pet, as long as the damn thing didn't kill the [BAD WORD REMOVED] out of you.

I'd love to own a white tiger or a Jaguar. Imagine how much money one would spend feeding them though.

That's pretty funny, actually.

In hind sight...

The jaguar is young ( how appropriate)

The panther is much older...

and my intuition tells me it wont be long before the Jaguar eats the panther ALIVE and doesnt even break a sweat.

Star isn't a huge loss now, Kyle Love will clog things up just as well for the next couple weeks.

Luke isn't a pass rushing threat, it's something he's still working on. Thomas Davis and Shaq Thompson should worry as well. Luke and TD are the best LB tandem in the NFL.

Tillman had already been cleared and Norman should be today.

You do realize the Jaguars previously cut Kyle Love two years ago because they realized he was no longer any good.

He was trash with the Jaguars.
Florio picked the Jags to win, along with a nice comment about the fan base.

He's been good here so far, a lot of people suck in Jax.
