20-13 jags
59-0

17-10 Panthers. I've gotta see Bortles and the rest of the offense continue to play well in the regular season before I pick them to beat anyone but Tennessee.

HAHA, sometimes the fingers do what they want!

you have to trust in the system, mike.

Low hanging fruit.
I refuse to relinquish my well-earned pessimism.  I predict we'll play well in the first half and then crumble in the second half.  We lose by 13.

I've heard all the hyped camp and preseason talk before. Until Gus and company can demonstrate otherwise, I will stay in the 'expect to lose' camp.

About what I expect, good first half with Carolina pulling away after the break to win by 10.

Or one very overzealous Carolina fan with multiple log ins including one pretending to be Jaguar fan. Imagine having so much free time.

Yeah. A Jaguar "fan" that registered last week and picks Carolina to win in a blowout. Going out on a limb that he won't be back after this weekend.
I think us jaguar fans are underestimating the panthers defense. They have top notch linebackers, solid Dline and an up and coming secondary. Cant see us scoring more than two TDs on them. That being said ,if our defense can cover olsen and stop the run theres no reason why we cant won.
17-13, boring game, not sure who is on top at the end.
13-16 Jags, Sticking by it. 1 TD per team, then its all kickers.

30-10 Jags. Cam Newton sucks.

Our offense has been deplorable the past couple years. The D has barely had a chance to catch their breath before they have to go back out to follow up yet another 3 and out. Offseason additions to the Offensive side of the ball indicate progress is to be expected. The defense wasn't stellar at all times, but were hardly the weakest link.
My real prediction? 27-20 Jaguars win with one of the Panthers 2 TDs coming from a short field or return on a Yeldon fumble early in the game before he's unceremoniously pulled. Cam tosses a baffling pick-six halfway through the third quarter that marks the point where the Jaguars take over the game and the panthers make it look more respectable with a fourth quarter TD against the prevent.

31-20 Shake n Blake Bortles(THAT JUST HAPPENED!) goes off for 325 and 3 touches and Aaron Colvin runs back a pick six on a busted read by Cam and Philly Brown to seal the game, BOOK IT!!!!!!

I can't make a prediction because I"m not sure if this Jags team stinks as usual or is a good squad.  If I had to guess right now

Carolina 20 Jags 13.  I hope I am wrong but we will see.

I'm skeptical of Bradley. If there's no major  improvement this year I'll be calling for a new head coach. The excuse for the defense is that the offense hasn't exactly run up the time of possession for them to catch their breath, but a lot of the defensive breakdowns last season occurred on the first two possessions after the half. The defense did improve significantly in the 2nd half of last season after Bradley took over the defensive play calling.

I think you and are on the same line of thinking here...  One thing I want to remind us all of about last year...  We played very soft D at the beginning of last year.  The CB's played way off the LOS and we rarely blitzed.  Towards the 2nd half of last season, I think Bradley took more responsibility and the LBs and Secondary became more agressive which allowed us to stay more competitive.

If Bradley allows the 2 new OCs/assistant HCs to worry about the offense, and Bradley has more of a hand on the D, we might very well have a good thing going.  If Bradley hasn't figured out how to put his fingerprints on the D while managing the overall success of the team, we could very well be in for another 0-8 start...  Which would be bad.  Very, very bad.

I'm hoping Bradley has figured out how to be a HC in the NFL and is properly delegating to his coordinators while still keeping the team positive and focused on his brand of competition.
