Only Jags fans fret over a kicker.
Quote:Closer to 90%?
I lol'd at that too. The effrontery of quoting #s that do not correspond to the mere % that was razzed...
Getting extra draft picks is never a bad thing.

I wonder if he comes on this board, or if he minds that I am using his face as my avatar.
Quote:Dude!! I didn't pull that number out of my [BLEEP]. Look it up.
I did look it up, and where you got that number is your own thing.... Edited my post above to show stats and per centage...

The guy is a celebrity in my book. It is the epitome of a picture speaks 1000 words.
Quote:Scobee was at like 76% on field goals last year. 29 out of 32. Just saying.
Im no math whizz but if he was 29 out of 32 he would be at 90.6% or effectively 91%.
Adios Scobee.... enjoy the weather up there..... hehehe

Ha! This response made wolf's quote seem like a bunch of grumbling in one's sleep (as i reread it)
I don't know where all these kicking #'s are coming from but they are inaccurate. HE was 20 for 25. 76.9%. 3 of those misses were blocked kicks.

I can see wolf PMing FBT to get his reaction to the trade even though he posted it in the thread. Printing it out, taking it to Moes for lunch with him and trying to calm himself down.
Classic.

Now I see, You all are correct. I somehow put the wrong numbers in there. Doesn't change the fact he was not that good last year and no one should fret the move much, if at all.
I was really surprised to wake up to this today. Hopefully it works out, because he was probably the legit crowd favorite ever since MJD left.
Does this mean his Fantasy Football value has increased?

I just put in waiver claims in both my leagues for him. Steelers will have a top 5 offense.
I understand taking draft picks for an aging kicker is a good deal and smart. I just don't know if I have the heart to lose Jaxson and Scobee in one offseason! Its like someone popped a hole in the room and let all the fun out. Sad face.
I feel Scobee is still an upper echelon kicker and one of the faces of the Jags franchise, especially in the community. Myers makes me very nervous with his college resume. Did he just put together an outlier few months or did he really improve that much since his senior season? You can't turn down draft picks for an aging, expensive, kicker on the last year of his deal, but it isn't hard to see the uneasiness in giving up a possible Pride of the Jaguars candidate for an unproven commodity.
Another pre-Caldwell player gone. With Branch on the bubble we could be down to just Poz, Lewis and Alualu soon (I might be missing someone).
I'm gonna miss Josh, I've been following the Jags (and NFL) since around later 2007 so he's always been part of the team for me.
